I'm pretty sure many of us have heard at least one person tell us that leaving a phone plugged in when the power goes out will cause the battery to drain. While this saying has been popular for years, it isn't entirely true. Today, we are going to be confirming if this is truly possible or just another technological myth. First, I'd like to point out that most smartphones today are made with lithium batteries and these batteries are very strict when it comes to charging and discharging. Now that's cleared, We'll bring on the first factor of the of the whole charging process which is the charger itself. Most chargers collect very high frequencies of electricity from the plug point. This electricity then goes through the small transformer inbuilt in the chargers circuitry to convert it to a safe value which the device can handle and then travels through the cable and supplies it to the phone. In a case of power outage, The cable will prevent any power from flowing back into the charger circuits. The second factor is the phone. Most smartphones today have built-in charge regulators. What these regulators do is that they prevent your phone from charging when it hits the 100% mark to avoid over-charging. Another thing they do is that, in the case of power outage while your device is still charging, It blocks the release of charge out from the battery through the ports back into the charger. So you see, this is a two-way prevention technique to assure users a safer and stronger device and battery. https://www.dailytechnet.com/discharging-while-plugged-in/

The Lenovo Z5 might be the world’s first true ‘all screen’. The Lenovo vice president Chang Cheng has released another teaser of the device on the popular Chinese social network: Weibo. The idea of this whole “all screen agenda” was first introduced by Apple when it released the iPhone X. It wasn’t long until after many Android phone companies started imitating it and making phones with even higher screen-to-body ratio. This followed an earlier release of what is believed to be the same Smartphone on Weibo. The teaser showed only a portion of the device and I must admit, It does have an elegant design. The device is claimed to feature an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 95%. The vice also said the Smartphone will feature 4 technological breakthroughs and 18 patented Technologies. But unfortunately, No further details were provided. It’s no trend that technology is evolving at an all time rate. Features as such in-display fingerprint sensors and ultrasound proximity sensors are now a reality. We won’t be surprised to see the front camera embedded into the screen of the Lenovo Z5. Lenovo’s purchase of Motorola mobility from Google for $2.19 Billion we thought would bring the company back to the top has disappointed. But with this, We know Lenovo will stop at nothing to achieve a hit device that will capture the world’s attention. Source: https://www.dailytechnet.com/lenovo-z5-allscreen

A new king is here: The Integral Memory's 512GB micro SD Card, It packs a whooping 512GB of storage(Which is half a terabyte) in a tiny chip. Just don't even imagine to lose such a chip. It was recorded that in Q3 of 2017, SanDisk released a 400GB micro SD Card. This made them attain a world record for largest Micro SD Card on the market. Though, This record was short-lived as barely a year after this, Integral Memory's upped their game and released a 512GB micro SD Card. It has been rumored that the micro SD Card would run at a processing speed up to 80MB/s. Although, This is a nice speed but when compared to SanDisk's 400GB Micro SD Card which runs at 100MB/s, The Integral Memory's card is a bit slow. The new Micro SD Card is also classified as an SDXC UHS-I U1 card (i.e, it has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s) and meets the V10 standard for video transfer rates, so it’s designed to capture full HD video off cameras. The date of official release hasn't been announced yet, but it's going to be launched and available in the open market sometime in February. https://www.dailytechnet.com/512gb-sd-card-by-integral-memory-is-the-largest-so-far/
