A MATTER OF TIME

“And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.”
(1 Samuel 1: 2)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Elkanah had two wives; Hannah was barren, while Peninnah had children. In the environment where Peninnah had children, Hannah had none. Hannah lacked what someone around her had in abundance; she lacked what her adversary had. She was mocked because of what others had that she did not have.

In a matter of time, Hannah had a son. She initially lacked what others had, but in a matter of time, she got what others had. She seemed left behind, but in a matter of time, she moved forward and made progress. She seemed disadvantaged and forgotten, but in a matter of time, God remembered her.

Friend, you may seem forgotten, disadvantaged, rejected, abandoned, unfortunate, etc, but God says, it’s all a matter of time before your story changes. You may not have what others have at the moment, but God says, in a matter of time, you will have yours. You may not yet have your own job, business, houses, cars, etc, you may even be barren like Hannah at the moment, but God says, in a matter of time, you shall have what you lack.

Hannah didn't have an ordinary child like Peninnah did. She had a child who became famous and played a leading role in Israel. You may not have what others have, but God says, in a matter of time, you shall have what will put you in the news. What you will receive from God will be so outstanding that it will make you famous.

Look beyond what others around you have, and look to God for your own portion. It’s only a matter of time before Jehovah gives more than you asked for.


Prayer : Lord, in a matter of time, I shall have what I lack at the moment, in Jesus’ name! Amen

What is GLORY? Glory is the beauty or substance that makes a man's life beautiful.it can also be describe as the worth of a man.without a glory a man's life is just like a 100watts bulb that refuses to light up when switched on.

EXAMPLE OF THOSE WHOSE GLORY HAS BEEN TEMPERED WITH:-When a man is working like an elephant and eating like an ant,then his glory has been tempered with.
-when a man is above sixty years with five children,but cannot pay their school fees,then his glory has been tempered with.
-when a graduate with a relevant qualifications,finish his/her education with flying colours and begin to seek for job for more than 7 years,then his/her glory has been tempered with.

COMMON DREAMS WE HAVE WHEN ONE'S GLORY HAS BEEN TEMPERED WITHA)Having a dream and not remembering when u wake up.(B)Eating in the dream.(C)Having sexual intercourse in your dream.(D)Being chased in the dream by dogs/cat.(E)Being arrested by uniform men.(F)Seeing cobwebs physically and in your dreams.etc.

My brothers and sisters in islam,when we talk about something spiritual it all start from hw your dream lyf is going,maybe you are eating in the dream,having sex,swimming,masqurade chasing you or people chasing u,seeing snakes in ur dream,dog chasings u and so on.My brothers and sisters this are bad dreams from shaitan(devil) to destroy the children of Allah for us not to fufil our destiny,and i pray insha Allah we shall all fufil our destiny,but we need to walk in the way of Allah,most of us are not doing that,that is why shaitan (devil) is having access to us if we walk in d ways of Allah he will always guide us and wont allow shaitan to cum near us.hw to follow Allah ways are 1) we need to surrender our life to him,not just going to mosque and praying mean you are walking in his way,but your attitude and character towards your fellow human being is what will help you. 2) we need to be the doer of his(Allah) word or commandment,but we are not.Is not good for a muslim to be dating without reaching the stage to get married,becos it can lead to fornication,and it is a great sin that make Allah far away from us that is when shaitan comes to destroy us.My brothers and sisters i pray Allah will give us the grace to abide in his word.
THE IMPORTANCE OF DREAMS WE ARE
HAVING.
1) Allah speaks to us in our dream,for example,Allah speaks to Prophet Yusuf (ASW) when he saw the moon,stars bowing down for him,Allah showed him when he was small and it later manifested in his life when he grew up.dat is hw Allah speaks to us in our dream.
2) Allah also use dream to warn is children about what he or she is doing,maybe the person is doing bad,because Allah is merciful he(Allah) want u to repent that was why he(Allah) will always warn before he(Allah) pass his judgement upon the person.
3)Allah also use dreams to reveal the plans of the enemy over someones life,my brothers and sisters if u are not dreaming atall or u dream and forget,this are evil manipulation from Shaitan(Devil) for you not to see what d lord want to show you or what u will become in future.we need to be praying very hard and walk in the ways of Allah as i said earliar.
