@elliotwiz and @getrichfast It seems you guys didn't know why I opted out of this competition. @Aysuccess Bros, you tried. This is just not our time. See u later! |
aysuccess99: Thank You All For The Support. God Bless U Sirs and Mas.Men, you surprised me. So, you were talking ironically when you said you are not ready. I salute you big bro! |
boay: ATTENTION PLEASE ! suspense mood activated! |
getrichfast: @Damitism, just like a thief can be used to catch a thief, knowing the tactics and all, same goes to the hackers. Do u think anyone wants to create a bad image?? They just want to be noticed. Giving them the opportunity to use their skils 4 gud is a wise decisionHackers who based on money do not pray to get caught. If you are talking about those who just want to crash your website, I might have agree but just not on those who are involved with money. |
Fynestboi: OLALEREY ARGUMENT POSTED..Hope the judges consider it |
getrichfast: @Damitism, like i said earlier, the credit card system has been upgraded with an extra pin known and available to the owner. This triggers a notification to you anytime your card is about to be used, and you can easily cancel it.Extra pin! Just because I want to secure my account. That's an idea the nigerians I know won't subscribe to. And about the notification, are you saying I will have to run to the bank and cancel the transaction or what? What if there is no bank around or internet facilities? Are you saying I should start panicking because I received such notification(s)? That's is hypertensive dear! getrichfast: In terms of the hackers. The government can actually use them. What they have are skills, not packaged crime. No cyberspace is perfect. We must start from somewhere. Would you rather have the whole world go cashless, and we left behind because you underestimate your country??what? You are saying the government can use the cyber thieves to protect our money? That's work made easier for the hackers dear. |
@Elliotwiz1 and @getrichfast The target of most malicious hackers is to steal personal information such as credit card numbers, or to conduct banking transactions without authorized permission. In addition, they could commit identification (ID) fraud by falsely presenting stolen identification to impersonate victims in exchange of goods and services in this virtual cashless economy. These misconducts could cause huge losses and creditability damage to innocent victims. We should remember that seated third in the world ranking of cyber-crimes for four consecutive years (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) is my beloved country Nigeria! But more importantly, we should always bear it at the back of our minds that the cyberspace does not have respect for national boundaries and is not restricted by geographical locations. A hacker may be relaxing at the comfort of his living room in California or in the Chinese city of Hong Kong and still penetrate the so called secured databases in the CBN at Abuja. Now the question is how secure is our databases and our cyberspace in general to embark on cashless economy? Do we really have the equipments and expertise in cyber forensic and network penetration testing to police and protect our cashless society? Do we really have adequate laws to prosecute offenders when they are eventually caught? |
