Hello All,

I applied for 2 year UK Visitor Visa in June and did biometrics on June 25, on July 12, I got an email from Home office that they could not decide on my application within the processing times, Visit..... I waited for update since July 12 up until Yesterday, July 24 and did not receive any update. I only needed the UK visitor visa to transit to another country; as I got a job in a Country where there is no direct flight from Nigeria to the Country and my approved work permit from the country required I get a multi entry /re-entry visa for 2 years to allow me multiple entry and reentry. I submitted all documentation from my employer such as approved work permit, employer support letter and job offer letter. I followed up with UKVI on paid email yesterday 24 July to know why i have not received decision as my resumption date draw near. The UKVI responded with the below email:


"Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.
Our records indicate a decision has been made on your application. We cannot discuss the outcome of your application on-line or by telephone.
If your visa has been granted, a visa vignette (sticker) will be stuck inside your passport with 3 months validity (from the start of your visa) to travel.
You will be contacted by VFS/TLS when your passport is ready for collection, or delivery of your passport.
Please do not attend the VAC until you have been contacted as you won’t be able to collect your passport until it is ready.
We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.
Please note the information given to you on the progress of an application is dependent on the details you provide, and we can only provide the progress updates based on the application reference number given.
We do not have access to specific case information and so progress updates could be subject to change. Please wait for formal contact or a decision letter before taking any further steps."


Can anyhow help me out, as I have not received any update from VFS and neither my status on VFS portal has changed.

I got similar email since July 12 and I am yet to receive any update since then.
