Foreign AffairsRe: US Navy To Start Blockading All Ships On The Strait Of Hormuz - President Trump by DanAdda: 3:59pm On Apr 12
What's funny is that the strait of Hormuz was open before the war but now the war is about opening the strait of Hormuz 😅

I pray for Israel, may they be treated exactly how they've treated the
Palestinians.
Nothing more, nothing less.
PoliticsIran Vs Nigeria: A Tale Of Two Nations by DanAdda(op): 4:25pm On Apr 08
Someone said that Iran is an uncivilized and oppressed regime. But as I told him, when you look at the facts, the "up-and-down" lifestyle in Nigeria makes the stability in Iran look like a luxury, even after 40 years of sanctions.

While Nigeria arguably has more personal "vibes" and political noise, Iran has actual state capacity. They have built a system that works for their citizens' daily needs, while we are still here praying for the national grid to "stay up" for just two days straight. It’s the difference between having the freedom to complain about anything and having a government that actually provides the basics so you don't have to complain.

1. Constant Power vs. "Up NEPA": Iran maintains a near 100% electrification rate. They don't know the struggle of sleeping in heat because a transformer blew or the grid "tripped."

2. Education that Travels: Iran has over 87 universities ranked in the top in their continent, while Nigeria only has 18. Their youth literacy is nearly 99%, whereas in some parts of Nigeria, basic literacy is still a major hurdle.

3. Roads and Security: In Iran, you can actually travel between cities without checking the news for "unknown gunmen" or kidnappers. Their highways are world-class. In Nigeria, interstate travel has become a "fast and pray" session because of bandits and Boko Haram.

4. Healthcare and Living Long: The average Iranian lives nearly 20 years longer than the average Nigerian. Their public health system is so efficient that the WHO has used it as a case study for rural care.

5. Industrial Independence: Because of sanctions, Iranians produce their own cars, medicines, and parts. We in Nigeria are still importing "everything including the toothpicks," and when the Naira falls, everyone’s heart skips a beat.

6. Urban Infrastructure: Major Iranian cities like Tehran have functional metro and subway systems. Most Nigerian "megacities" are still struggling with basic drainage and organized bus stops.

7. A Powerhouse for Women’s Education: Contrary to common stereotypes, Iran has one of the highest female-to-male university ratios in the world. As of 2024 and 2025 data, women make up roughly 60% of all university students. In some fields like medical and basic sciences, that number hits 70%. Compare that to Nigeria, where millions of girls are still out of school.
8. Literacy That Hits the Ceiling: Iranian female youth literacy (ages 15–24) is nearly 99%. In Nigeria, basic literacy is still a major hurdle, especially in the north. Their youth aren't just "going to school"; they are actually learning and competing globally.
Before we look at others and call them "oppressed," we should look at our own backyard. Is it better to have the freedom to speak but no light to read by, or to have a functioning society where the basics of life are guaranteed? As we say in Nigeria, "Before you tell a man that his breath smells, make sure you have brushed your own teeth." We cannot call a house "broken" when our own roof is leaking from every corner.

Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Calls CNN Report ‘fraud’, Mentions “fake Nigerian Site” by DanAdda: 12:57pm On Apr 08
Iran may have suffered irreparable losses -human, capital, and infrastructure - but they have also left their adversaries far worse off.

They defied death and withstood bombs to assert their sovereignty and defend their dignity. Their firepower, though relatively weaker, has been felt by bullies hitherto deemed untouchable.

Countries once seen as untouchables have been struck badly, while the Iranians stood strong, fearless, and unhumiliated.

This for Iran, is a strategic and political victory.

More so that the war, like the ones previously invested by the US in Vietnam and Afganistan, has proved that superior firepower isn’t all that is required to win wars from equally important fronts.

If president of Iran threatened that the entire US will die tonight, you’d call it Terrorism

The US president threatened that the whole Iranian civilization will die tonight, why do you call it PEACE?

This’s the first time in history a president announcing war crimes in advance.

Foreign AffairsUS Fighter Jet Shot Down Over Iran And Search Is Underway by DanAdda(op): 5:07pm On Apr 03
A US fighter jet has been shot down over Iran, three US sources said, confirming Iranian state media reports.

US President Donald Trump has been briefed on the matter, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told CNN.

US President Donald Trump has been briefed on the matter, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told CNN.

Here’s what we know:

Iranian claims: Iranian state media on Friday released photos of what it claimed to be the wreckage of a US Air Force fighter jet downed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

About the jet: The Iranian reports said the jet was a F-35 stealth fighter, but CNN analysis of images published suggests it was more likely to be an F-15.

Status of crew: US sources said that the jet was shot down over Iran, and potential rescue efforts appeared to be captured in social video geolocated by CNN. Iran has been unsuccessful in its search for the missing crew, Iranian state news media Tasnim agency said, adding that local traders in the southwestern Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province were offering a reward of 10 billion tomans ($76,000) for anyone who finds the crew alive. An Iranian soccer player offered medals he won while playing for Persepolis FC as a reward too.

The same Iran whose military, naval, and air force have been obliterated by Trump? It can't be. Iran has no capacity to do that. I think there is a mistake somewhere.
