How do you manage anger?

During a heated debate in a state's senate (not Nigeria), the argument was so fierce that the man involved was close to punching another man.

Suddenly, the man stood up and lied down on his desk.

When asked, 'why did you do that? He responded, 'I am close to boiling point and if I lie down there is no way I can punch anybody, that is my way of avoiding boiling over'.
