Nigeria has truly never had it like this before... Bandits, terrorists, kidnappers should be killed once caught...no need to jail them...dey don't deserve to live again as soon as they are caught

IslamRe: Bandits: Wait, How Can They Be Muslims? by Danandosky(m): 10:46am On Jun 12
But they kept shouting Allahukba when they slit people's throats.... U moslems don't even condemn these actions in your mosques...it's either u are silent about it or you behave like it's not happening...
The quran has given them the bases for carrying out what they believe is jihad against infidels with 72 virgins waiting for them in case they die in the process...
Government even made it worse by giving room for so called repentant or surrender terrorists and even deradicalizing and reintegrating them instead of unaliving them right away after extracting necessary information from them instead of keeping them alive in prison... moslems are not condemning terrorists, so they are their members

Lukgaf:
One accusation frequently made in Nigeria is that bandits are Muslims and that what they do represents Islam.

But I ask: How can they be Muslims?

I have seen in many videos that some of them rely on charms and juju so that bullets will not penetrate them which is considered Shirk in Islam.

Allah says:

"Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills." (Qur'an 4:48)

How can they be Muslims?

Many of them consume hard drugs and intoxicants.

Yet the Prophet ﷺ taught that every intoxicant is forbidden.

How can they be Muslims?

Some of them kill innocent people indiscriminately.

Yet Allah says:

"Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah's wrath and curse are upon him, and He has prepared for him a great punishment." (Qur'an 4:93)

And the Prophet ﷺ said:

"The destruction of the whole world is lighter in the sight of Allah than the unlawful killing of a Muslim."

How can they be Muslims?

Some of them commit zina and violate the honour of women in captivity.

When Allah has prescribed severe punishment for fornication and adultery, how can those who perpetrate such acts claim to represent Islam?

How can they be Muslims?

Some steal wealth, extort ransom, rustle cattle, and spread fear throughout society.

Yet Allah says:

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption on earth is that they be executed, or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be exiled from the land." (Qur'an 5:33)

How can they be Muslims?

Some attack mosques and kill Muslims themselves. They have kidnapped Islamic scholars and ordinary Muslims alike. They have burnt villages, displaced families, and left many children orphaned.

How then can they be said to be preaching Islam?

No religion should be judged by the actions of those who violate its teachings. If a Christian commits armed robbery, we do not say Christianity teaches robbery. Likewise, Islam should not be judged by people who openly rebel against its commandments.

Islam stands for peace, justice, mercy, and security. These criminals represent only themselves and their evil desires.

May Allah protect our land from their evil, guide those among them who can still be guided, and bring swift justice upon those who persist in corruption and bloodshed.

You are on what exactly oga power minister...
Please just reverse the banding tarrif to a general flat rate, and return the subsidy for energy....APC just kept deceiving the gullible populace, and their online warriors will keep defending the government...in a sane country by now he should have left office because the reasons you forced removal of power subsidy and introduced the banding tarrif system is not working....band A in some areas have not use energy for up to 10hrs in a month

Let your mechanic change the electrical thermostat with a new one and see...it's at the top right side of the engine top...

Victory662:
I recently bought a Toyota Corolla 2005 model, Nigerian used. Since then I've had this constant problem of hard starting. It's not very bad though, it picks after second or third kick, although in some cases it could be worse prompting my battery to run down.

I have explained the issue to about 4 mechanics, each of them telling me what they suspected could be the cause, I paid them and at the end of the day, nothing changed. I've spent over 300k on this very issue.

The only option I'm considering now is that of the latest mechanic that told me it could be fuel pump system pressure or electrical fault or both. I'm just afraid of spending money again because I'm already afraid it may not work.
So NL family, have your car ever had this "spiritual hard starting" problem? And how did u get out of it?

PhonesRe: Why You Should Be Careful With People Who Always Turn On Disappearing Messages by Danandosky(m): 11:57am On Dec 13, 2025
Also be wary of those that intermittently turn off and on"Read Receipt" on WhatsApp

giftson102:
This is a serious caution.

If you are chatting with someone who always insists on turning on disappearing messages, don’t ignore it. It is not just a WhatsApp setting. It is a deliberate choice and often a dangerous one.

Disappearing messages erase conversations automatically and in real life, what has no record is hard to prove. In law, chats are frequently used to establish:
🥢 Agreements
🥢 Instructions
🥢 Promises
🥢 Financial arrangements
🥢 Threats or admissions
When the messages vanish, your proof vanishes with it.

Let this be clear

Turning on disappearing messages is not illegal but when someone insists on it for:

🥢 Business discussions
🥢 Money matters
🥢 Work arrangements
🥢 Sensitive commitments
That is a red flag you should not ignore.

What this means for you
🥢 If the issue later becomes serious and there is no evidence, the law will ask: Where is your proof?
🥢 Courts rely on records, not explanations.
🥢 Verbal claims rarely survive without documentation.

Protect yourself

Do not discuss serious matters on disappearing chats.

Insist on written confirmation for any agreement.

Save records where the law allows.

Be cautious with people who fear transparency.
Silence deletes accountability. Transparency protects everyone. This warning may save you from future trouble.

MT:
Irrespective of what happens in Nigeria, the US has no legal right to say they want to launch military attack on another country uninvited

The US created the global rule-based system which Trump is currently destroying. There are diplomatic channels that countries use to communicate. No sane country comes to social media to plan war.

US said dey want to attack and clear terrorists killing both Christians and Muslims in Nigeria because the current Tinubu government is not doing anything about it especially where Christian dominated areas are consistently attacked.... Do u have problem with that, are u a terrorists or their sympathizer....

When US voted a convict as President, no one talked. When guns are killing them in their thousands, no country threatens to attack the US. US and any allies help is welcome but not through disrespect. Right approach has to be done.

HealthRe: Malaria Almost Took Me Out,But a Pharmacist Saved Me. by Danandosky(m):
Nothing is special about being a consultant, just as nothing is special about being a doctor.... that's only if u are one

Pharmacists don't interact with patients in some facilities that are only known to u, probably u are confusing pharmacy technicians with pharmacists.... And who told you pharmacists can not diagnose medical conditions? As though they didn't do physiology, anatomy, pathophysiology, community and public health pharmacy, etc in the course of training.... If u say some disease conditions, I will understand... with clinical pharmacy training in the Pharm D programme, pharmacist can diagnose basic disease conditions like hypertension, diabetes, malaria, enteric fever, basic skin infections, etc and they treat them in their pharmacy outlets, go and stop them from prescribing and treating their patients let's see... Some pharmacy outlets with resident clinical pharmacists see more patients than some cottage hospitals... Some of the patients even prefer seeking treatment from a pharmacist than a doctor in a nearby state hospital.

I don't know why u just decided to want to talk down on the training and skills of Nigeria trained pharmacists...

In my years of practice, I have been consulted several times by doctors, even senior doctors for advice on medication use, and other pharmacotherapeutic inputs, and u think any random person can do this as well ?...because I have the training and knowledge to give them what they seek from me...

These days u go to hospitals and see doctors using AI or Google to diagnose patients... What is special about diagnosis of basic disease conditions with all the literature available on the internet and AI...non medical/clinical individuals are doing it talk more of someone that has clinical training.

Pharmacy profession has evolved beyond this your early 90's idea of pharmacy...

Sometimes, people don't ask to see the pharmacist when dey go to a pharmacy outlet ... Auxiliary nurses, pharmacy technicians, or sales personals most times attend to them...

creolehunt:
And wht is special about being a consultant?

I insist and from a place of decades of experience in the Nigerian health sector that a pharmacist can neither prescribe nor diagnose.

I dont understand the dribble about abroad and co when the topic is about Nigerian Pahrmacy profession.

In federal Teavhing hospital which is the apex of healthcare in the public setting, a pharmacist cannot prescribe drugs. And I reiterate that even I'm some facilities, they aren't allowed to swap brands.

So if the role is to dispense, what then is special.about it of the cleaner who has been in the outlet for years also knows where the drugs are.

Even in some hospitals, the pharmacist doesn't interface with patients, they basically dispense through a pigeonhole.

So u now know that each health care professional is important in the health ecosystem, but u have done your hierarchy and placed pharmacist as the least important, , that their roles can be carried out by anyone, I don't blame you, it's the country we find ourselves, I believe u know what pharmacists are in a functional system in developed countries, learn not to talk down on any professional as being least important in the scheme of things...
Basic123:
There is nothing special in being a "CONSULTANT"....you can be a consultant in anything. There are consultants in finance, engineering even among cleaners

BUT..Let people know that the training of a medical doctor and a pharmacist are different
You guys need to stop misinforming people.

While pharmacists think drugs
Lab scientist thinks Tests
Physiotherapist thinks maneuvers
Doctors thinks holistic management which go beyond just Tests,drugs,maneuvers,symptoms...etc

The training is different and each professionals are important in the health ecosystem
HealthRe: Malaria Almost Took Me Out,But a Pharmacist Saved Me. by Danandosky(m): 3:36pm On Sep 26, 2025
I don't think you know anything about Pharmacists, according to u, pharmacist are not licenced to give injection in Nigeria, a country with a chaotic health system but quacks, CHEWs, boys that served their oga at head bridge can give injections... Is like you are still in the stone age, pharmacist are well trained, clinical pharmacist are integral part of the health care team in developed countries, and can counter doctors prescriptions if deemed to be inappropriate, in fact doctors seek their input in many situations of drug therapy.... There are consultant pharmacists in Nigeria for your information...and to add to this, remove the pharmacy department from any teaching hospital and see if the facility can generate any reasonable revenue again...over 80% of patients that come to the hospital go home with one medication or another.... For u to even say anybody that understand the shelf drug arrangement can do the work of the pharmacist shows that you are myopic in ur thought... Know that any mistake a pharmacist make can be deadly, like giving the wrong drug, not explaining side effects, wrong dosing, etc

There are lots of cases of kidney failure and liver damage in the country because majority of the people who handle and dispense drugs are non pharmacist and lack the necessary knowledge, dey give wrong drugs, at wrong doses, without even knowing what the cause of the condition is... leading to serious organ damage... especially with painkillers, antibiotics.... U better ask questions or better still, do your research well before coming to talk in public space like someone who's not enlightened

[quote author=creolehunt post=136926104]Are pharmacists even licensed to give injections? Please do not ever play with your health, even the smallest of mistakes can be disastrous.

That said, if you walk into any Federal Teaching Hospital today, you'd find that Pharmacy is probably the most useless department amongst the clinical. They are basically dispensers and the task they carry out can easily be performed by anyone who has same access to the doctors prescriptions and knows his way around the shelves of medications. Even the porters assisting the pharmacists, sometimes step in to assist.

In some, Pharmacists aren't even allowed to swap a brand of prescription let alone prescribe by themselves.

In the scheme of things, the hierarchy is Doctors, Nurses, Lab Scientists, before pharmacists and co
