Car TalkIs LPG Harmful For Your Petrol Or Diesel Car Engines? by danielitel01(op): 2:34am On Jun 24, 2024
First off, using LPG in car engines can offer even more advantages over using petrol. When a car engine runs on LPG and is cold, it tends to perform better than a petrol engine in similar conditions. This is particularly beneficial during the initial warming-up phase. LPG helps engines burn fuel more efficiently, reduces emissions, and improves overall engine operation. Additionally, LPG has a high octane rating of about 100, which means it causes less knocking compared to many types of unleaded petrol available today. It also burns cleaner, leading to smoother engine performance and long-term benefits for parts like spark plugs, valves, pistons, and cylinder heads.

If you're considering converting your car or SUV to run on LPG instead of petrol, you may have questions. It's important to understand whether LPG is suitable for cars and whether it can cause any damage to the engine. Knowing these facts can help you make an informed decision about your vehicle.

Does LPG gas Damage Car Engines?
No, LPG is good for cars. Cars made to use LPG usually don't harm engines and might even make them last longer and need less maintenance. This makes LPG a great choice for cars as an alternative fuel. LPG in a car engine is good because it burns cleaner than diesel or petrol. This cleaner burning can help the engine last longer because it puts less stress on engine parts. LPG has a high octane rating of about 100, which means it's less likely to cause knocking that can damage the engine.

AgricultureSimple Beginner Guide For Egusi Farming (melon Seeds) In Nigeria by danielitel01(op): 4:35pm On Jun 22, 2024
First, it is good to know that we have early egusi farming and late farming too. Early farming starting from April to early July. While late farming starts from september depend on your location.

Egusi farming, also known as melon farming, is a lucrative agricultural venture in Nigeria, offering great opportunities for beginners and experienced farmers alike. This guide aims to provide you with the right information to start your journey into Egusi farming.

What Is Egusi (Melon Seeds)?
Egusi refers to the seeds of plants like Citrullus lanatus and Citrullus colocynthis, commonly grown in West Africa. These seeds are rich in oil and protein, making them a valuable crop in local and international markets.

• Selecting a suitable location is recommended for Egusi farming. Opt for well-drained sandy loam soil with good fertility. Make sure the site receives adequate sunlight and has access to water sources for irrigation.

The next phrase should be to prepare the land by clearing it of weeds and debris. Plow or till the soil to a fine texture to facilitate seed germination. Egusi seeds are typically planted directly in the soil after the last frost, at a depth of about 1-2 inches and spaced at intervals of 3-4 feet.

• Egusi thrives in warm climates with temperatures between 25°C to 35°C (77°F to 95°F). Adequate water is important, especially during the flowering and fruiting stages. Irrigate regularly, making the soil remains moist but not waterlogged. Apply >>> READ FULL ARTICLE HERE 👇👇👇

AgricultureCan Ugwu Seeds Grow Without Sunlight - What Will Happen? by danielitel01(op): 8:33am On Jun 20, 2024
Did you planted your ugwu where sun doesn't get there? Will it still grow.

What Will Happen If You Plant Your Ugwu Seeds Where No Sunlight Or Shade?
The fact remains that, vegetables needs sunlight. All crops needs the vitamin D which is the sun to grow and flourish. It will grow, but it won't flourish. Crops needs sunlight, the same way they need rain.

My own side, sun hits them from morning till evening and very hot sun, so i just water them everyday. Your Ugwu will grow, but the leaves will not green well.

The leaves will turn yellow not green.

Car TalkFuture Of CNG: Can CNG Vehicles Work In Nigeria? by danielitel01(op): 10:54am On Jun 18, 2024
With a projected $2.5 billion investment by 2027, the Presidential CNG Initiative is poised to drive Nigeria towards a sustainable and prosperous future, where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive.

Is this the journey towards a sustainable and prosperous future?

It is not very difficult to know what await the future of CNG innovations in Nigeria, and you don't have to be a prophet or a prophetess to know this. A Nigeria where there is not even enough electricity to power her people, a country where no refineries are functioning, and a place where does in power positions are only there for the national cake.

One prominent African speaker once said, " How can Africa power itself into space, when Africa can't even power its next neighbor". As per what is going on in the country today with the current administration of president Bola Ahmad Tinubu, with the rising cost of living, fuel price increase and now LPG gas, I don't think the Nigerian government is really ready for this big innovation, not just yet. We are not prepared for the implementation - no plans, no support and budget allocation for this. There is no budget set aside for the establishment of auto-gas stations across the 36 different states of the federation, including the F.C.T.

AgricultureWhat Type Of Crop Someone Can Plant This Month Of August In Nigeria? by danielitel01(op): 1:50pm On Jun 17, 2024
I did recommend Beans. I won't say go for plantain, lol. I think planting plantain is rather late now. The best month to start planting plantain is April/May. Any plantain planted now especially in the South West is 50/50. But if you have access to water please go ahead. Even cassava and corn.

For the month of August, beans, maize, carrots and many more. Or just beans

What of Beany seed? This is the time for Beany seed. You can get it from any ministry of Agriculture or agro farm shop in your locality. Request for Samize 15 and 17 or, SC 719 for your maize and, 419 specie for your cassava.

In case of watermelon, it is planted mainly twice in the year. Between March and April and in August. It does not need too much rain, but does not do well if there is no rain. Cucumber can be planted all through the year. The only challenge is that both watermelon and cucumber are like babies. They require intensive care. As from two weeks, you have to spray at least once weekly with insecticides, fungicides and others. Fertilizers should be applied at least twice before harvest.

There is my recommendation:

* Maize

* Cucumber

* Watermelon

* Cowpea (Beans)

* Soyabeans

* Cassava

* Melon

AgricultureCan I Apply Cow Dung (cattle Manure) On My Egusi Farm - Any Effects? by danielitel01(op): 9:00pm On Jun 16, 2024
No. Please don't. You can only if the compost has thoroughly mixed with the soil and is no longer generating heat. Otherwise the heat will kill the roots.

Cow dung is slow acting, so the best time to apply it is before planting. Spread it on the ground before cultivating or tilling. Make sure it's as dry as sand then incorporate it into the soil before planting.

What is the yield of Egusi per acre?

Plant on the side of ridges. One (1m) apart
