DEJA VU [EPISODE THREE]

Decades ago, a lady had just bagged her bachelors degree in economics with honours. Months later, she begun to apply for jobs with her qualification.

The response was as tardy as a sloth. She applied for a thousand but barely got a feedback. Suddenly, the once cheerful promising graduate had become droopy.

She went from one interview to the next. She sat for one aptitude test to the other. Companies only hired those with two extra legs and hands. They hired those who had a cash reservoir. Some got the job using their "holy grail" as the ladies would say.

They called it "The Real World" where things are never as they seem. A world where the back door is encouraged. A world where brains didn't cut it no more. A world where companies request for outrageous decades of experience when recruiting for a 22-year old graduate. 2016 was indeed an interesting year for the movie industry. We saw a lot of blockbusters hit our screens. TRUE LOYALTY

One day, a king summoned his most faithful knight to come feast at his table. Moments later, his knight arrived at the royal diner decorated with the best and sumptuous meals you could ever imagine. While he stood, he said.

"You summoned, My Lord." the knight said

THE TRUE STAR

On a very cozy night, a father took his boy for a stroll on the sidewalk. The stars and the moon shone brightly and the birds made their screeching sounds that night. While they strolled, his boy asked.

"Dad. Why do the stars only shine at night?" the boy queried rather curiously.

TRUMP WINS U.S ELECTIONS

The world is still in shock about Republican president-elect, Donald Trump who was declared winner at the polls moments ago. Trump won the battlegrounds picking up victories in Ohio, Florida and North Carolina. He had a 50.5% vote out of a 100 in North Carolina with a total of 15 electoral votes. In Ohio, the Republican had a 52.1% vote out of a possible 97.3% leaving his opposition Hilary Clinton with 43.5%.

There is a saying that goes "You do to others what you expect them to do to you." There is also a saying that goes "One good turn deserves another." One day, a kid asked his uncle a question about someone he's never seen but was always talked about. The boy believed his uncle was an adult and so he had answers to everything. SHOULD PRESIDENT BUHARI BE IMPEACHED?

According to the Vanguard this morning, some members of the house of representatives and senators have threatened to impeach president Buhari. Since he assumed office in May 2015, the president's administration has been rocked with so much irregularities and controversial policies. His administration has been dampened by unprecedented inflation precisely in the price of fuel which rose to N145 per litre. Also, they've been allegations from the members of the house about president Buhari not appearing before the house and that has stirred a lot of controversy. Some Nigerians have complained that this administration has been rocked with nothing but failed promises for change. There has also been a lot of allegations against the president from the house even in his involvement in the Saraki's saga.

A wonderful morning to y'all and you're welcome to Danny world. Today, we're having a very important personality right here. She's vibrant and vision driven. A lady who is driven by the desire to serve. She's indeed a lady worthy of emulation. She's proved against all odds that women can certainly compete on a man's playground. She's the incumbent president of the Student Union Government (S.U.G) in the university of the Benin. She's currently the only female S.U.G president serving in the whole of Nigeria. I'm talking of no other person but Miss Lauretta Obakpolo! Here's how the interview went;

Danny: Good morning. You're welcome to Danny world Lauretta Obakpolo.

Miss Lauretta: Thanks for having me.

Danny: First things first, tell us a bit about you. Who is Lauretta?

Miss Lauretta: Well...Lauretta is a 400 level student of Pharmacy in the university of Benin. I attended Victory Primary School before moving on to Girls Model Secondary School, Abudu, Edo state where I bagged my school leaving certificate.

Danny: Cool. Now you mentioned something about being a Pharmacy student. We do know the stress that comes with the job as the president. But we also know your first priority as a student. How do you hope to merge these two very key functions?

Miss Lauretta: Good question Danny. For me, it's pretty easy. It's all about time management and prioritising your activities. That's the key to handling both jobs efficiently. This way, one doesn't suffer as much as the other. It's all about creating a balance and it's what works for me.

PIC OF THE WEEK CONTEST

The pic of the week contest is gonna be just as similar as the last one where there were no judges. This time, all contestants will submit their preferred (ONE) PICTURE and DETAILS to Danny either through whatsapp number 07087561848 or BBM 2B2886A2. Now each contestant's picture will be uploaded on the blog www.dannyworld.net and every contestant will be sent his/her unique number and LINK where others can go through to like his/her favourite contestant picture. So now we all have the opportunity of being the judges at this point as you can get to like a picture and ensure others like the picture as well to win. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR PICTURE MUST BE RATED THROUGH THE 5-STAR ICON ON THE BLOG TO GET VOTES.

Contestants must now hustle for likes to stand the chance of winning. The picture with the highest likes becomes the pic of the week and gets to appear on Danny world's 6th edition of her publication in June and wins a N1000 airtime top-up of his/her choice. So if you think your picture deserves to be the pic of the week, then get likes for your picture using your unique LINK. Remember, the criterion of the picture hasn't changed. Your picture MUST contain the following criterion;
1. Quality picture image (JPG, JPEG, PNG...)
2. Quality picture background
3. Outfit/Costume
4. Hair do (Both male and female)
5. Make over (For the ladies)
6. Accessories
7. Decency

This must be STRICTLY adhered to less you get penalised whether or not you get the highest likes or not. I believe one way or the other, we would have felt some level of affection towards someone in our life. Some people say it's LOVE. Others say it's an INFATUATION. Some have said that people don't really love but infatuate for a while and then that person doesn't just matter anymore. Some have even said that love doesn't exist in the real world. They say it's just an imagery. Some have also argued that love and infatuation are basically the same. Some say one leads to the other. What do you think? In our world today, there are three very important words which has led to a lot of enmity and animosity among humans when these words are not used. But these same words, has also pacified and evaded a lot of troubles in our world today when used by humans. "Please" appeals to the heart requesting permission politely. "Thanks" appreciates a gesture commending one for the job done. "Sorry" apologises to one who has been wronged showing regrets on the part of the offender. As little as these words, they go a long way in creating problems and solving or avoiding those problems as it were. The focus today will be on a thankful heart.
