Pleased hold NFF
The players are the least of our issues, if our NFF was working, trust me the players would be forced to give their best, all this talk of blaming players, yes the players truly except a few are not giving their best but their is underlying cause that gives them laxity.

You can’t be owing them, you can not give them good training facilities, good travel logistics, good medical care incase of injuries in the national team, Infact there should a good insurance cover for national teams for injuries while playing for the national team, good reward systems, if we had a working system trust me this players will not have the audacity to play badly or be so poor.

You guys seem not up understand what a working system gives, just like Nigeria, we want to do things half hazardously and expect the best, that it worked before was just luck, we need to work on our system, our structure not Just ephemeral glory.
Do you know Saka, Eze , Alaba, Olise, tomori and the whole lot top class talent could be playing for us if we have a good structure, now tell me with top talent coming to play for us if we had a good structure, will Iwobi, Chukwueze and the rest be performing mediocre of they had to fight for shirts, if we had academies, good leagues, we will have talented and also well groomed intelligent players coming from the ranks to take over from any under performer, where Moses for see shirt if saka was playing for us.

Again we are suffering because of a terrible structure, blame players all you want, the players will get fed up, question their patriotism all you want, but see it’s all on NFF, and if we really want to move forward we must leave blaming players and focus on NFF, leave all the journalists that are still myopic in thinking.

No World Cup in 12 years. Nigerian football fell off hard.
we have been missing under 17, 20 back to back it’s just normal you miss senior too…
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 2:41pm On Nov 17, 2025
Iwobi o Simon o Ndidi o, out of the national team.

Apart from NFF, some players too must receive sticks.

Do you know what finals are? Just one game, we had just one game to win AFCON, we were a goal up, we choked embarrassingly, just one game to lift a trophy, you let your opponent run around like you were ball boys, you loose possession, you don’t mark, Iwobi did not mark one runner through out, he didn’t win any ball, no turnover, no through ball, no blocked shots, no shot at goal…
One game against Ghana in Abuja
One game against Ivory Coast
One game against DRC

Mikel and Moses, with Onazi, will pull out this wins 2/3.

This set of players have very weak and lackadaisical personalities, plus mentality and I want them out, most of them, let’s start from scratch, while also kicking out all NFF members out too, Infact let’s get banned from football.

What are we going to AFCON to do?

Out under 17, 20, 23 all suffering, what are we going to AFCON to do, talkless of World Cup?

DRC will likely play two more games at the intercontinental playoffs, as they won't be seeded.

Call me petty and childish, but yes, I'm rooting for Jamaica, Panama and Costa Rica to finish as second place teams at the playoffs and hopefully knock out DRC. 🤧

I honestly think DRC only beat Cameroon and Nigeria because the latter two teams were absolutely trashbags.

I won't put it past Panama or Costa Rica to silence them in Mexico. Say what you want about them, but on average, CONCACAF teams are roughly similar to B-tier CAF teams like DRC, SA and Angola in terms of ability and physicality.
we played trash yesterday… all this hyping of drc , just watch how Iran or South Korea without any physical strength with give them 3-0 easily..

Nigeria was trash yesterday, like didn’t mark, we didn’t position to receive ball, just playing back passes, even with our trash we got penalties…

Physicality is good o, but it’s 30 percent in modern football, brain will always win.

Too bad our brains like Iwobi, Simon, Chukwueze, look man decided to be absolute trash…

Drc are at best very average.

Even if Xavi, Iniesta amd Busquets played for us yesterday, they would have been ineffective.

DR Congo were a far better and superior ball playing side, and it showed yesterday.

The way DR Congo dominated us yesterday is reminiscent of how Algeria totally dominated and outplayed us in AFCON 2019 semifinal.
oga wetin you dey talk na, if we had xavi iniesta and busquet, drc would be trashed.

You guys will be hyping average teams because super eagles are underperforming, super eagles sold the game, Ethiopia beat this Drc month ago, Senegal came from two goal to beat this people, they are not good, we just messed up abeg, we played very badly.

Iwobi number one culprit

Iwobi simon time to go, they consistently refuse to step up.

So without Osimhen no football yea, no na Osimhen eagles, such embarrassing performances not against Brazil or Argentina, Congo Dr, outplaying for almost 90 minutes because you don’t have osimhen, none of Simon chukwueze, Iwobi lookman could step, not even of of them, and that’s the reason we are here in the playoffs because of such mediocre players like them with weak mentality.

In a Final where you drop it and give all like you want it, see them casually strolling…
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 12:37am On Nov 17, 2025
Simon should be banned from that team…

For so long very mediocre, what does he even add to the team?

Leadership zero, drive zero, assist just once in a while, goals no, nothing just to loose penalties that could have won us the game.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 11:50pm On Nov 16, 2025
Meanwhile super eagles should not blame fans for being indifferent about them from now on…

Too much heart breaks.

2022 to Ghana
2024 to Ivory Coast
2025 to DRC

In as much as the NFF has their part, the players have refused to step up when it matters. Infact if they like they should win Afcon I no send them for now, till I see them actually really dominating and playing, not just in AFRICA but the world then I can believe in them, the fans have given a lot, we defend them, hype them, have faith even in unimaginable situations but they keep breaking fans heart.

As per super eagles of this generation, they signed off, they are not worth it, they are babies and flunked it when it matters, there are not ready to warriors, let them keep being babies, they do not deserve any support till they earn it with a consistent run of good performances… I can’t believe or trust them, Infact I expect to loose any game they play now because they proven to be chickens, even if they win they are still chickens, when they are ready to soar like eagles, they whole word will see.

What are we doing in a nonsense playoff in the first place? If not their embarrassing poor football, only osimhen, Benjamin, sometimes Bassey has shown real class, quality and intent, people like iwobi, Moses should be kicked out , tired of their mediocrity in the National team.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 11:30pm On Nov 16, 2025
We need to actually design youth programs to develop ball playing midfielders, like scout them young, profile them, train them and the gifted ones push them into our cadet teams…

Like selective breeding since we don’t naturally produce proper ball playing midfielders, we must be intentional about it.

Enough of the nonsense and mediocrity, if we have just two proper midfielders, we will be dispatching teams and qualifying with ease…

Tbh I am tired of Iwobi , he has really not added anything spectacular to our football, if he is not playing on the wings, he should sit it out..

He is very uninspiring, and as a senior player, has never stepped up…

Mujtahida:
I dread Sunday evening football

Cameroun v. Nigeria in 2000

CIV last Afcon

Today.
didn’t we in win Afcon on Sunday 2013, this are not issues jare , Nigeria has to fix structures,,we neeed to decide if we want to actually progress and join the best or keep the trying our luck thing with mediocre structures.

Where is under 17? where under 20? where under 23? Where is the league, all we want is for super eagles to keep performing so we can be using them to cover very poor structures, no please….

They give us a lot of time for long balls from the back which we could use to punish them Haba, if you have to, remove semi Shay, bring awaziem, tell slot and ejike to keep running to the channel at the wing while run those long balls… at least use what you have tactically
