I didn't think I was entitled to the information, actually. Even if I did, I expect that, once it is not automatically made public, as with all civil service agencies, it would be more efficient to request it here (fraught with risk of inaccuracy as it is).

In any case, I hope you're aware that civil service salaries and salary scales actually are public knowledge. The extent to which NNPCL fits into that category, is what is debatable.

I should also mention that, unless there's an ironclad preliminary NDA, there's next to no real restriction on information-sharing until you've executed the CoS.

Again, it is entirely the prerogative of entrants to disclose or refrain from disclosing information, but I'm not sure there should ever be any fetters to what information one may request. It never hurts to be polite, even in disagreement.

In all honesty, the info you requested for is not info on the recruitment process. It's basically sensitive company information, and successful applicants can't give them to you. If you feel the public should be privy to these information, you know where the whole FOIA should be directed, and it's not the employees.

There's roughly 20 pages of people on this thread, asking for information that should either be publicly available, or shrouded in profound secrecy (as you seem to be implying).

if you take the position that whatever information NNPCL or some other pseudo-governmental agency does not itself put out, should only be sought with a battering ram because the FOIA exists, that is on you. As I've said, willfully obtuse people are tiring.

In any event, I have asked for information, believing that persons who may have them available, have the prerogative to provide them or keep them. Depending on your status, you have your prerogative as well. An actual intelligent person might've dared to wonder to what purpose I intend to put this information. But you know how it is with your kind.

If you want to argue the FOIA, since you are keen on knowing, why don't you go to NNPCL yourself, and apply for that information leveraging the FOIA and see if they'll disclose that to you. If they do, that's great! But if they don't, that means it's not anyone's business

In any event, whilst NNPCL may be a theoretical limited liability company, there's a huge enough flavour of government ownership to make its non-sensitive affairs (of which, I assure you, recruitment forms a part) the business of the general public, per the FOIA. How about that?

Hello People, congratulations to the successful applicants. I am genuinely happy for you, even though I did not make it in. I would appreciate it if, by resumption in April, anyone could post here if they received an upfront payment, and if there's a training/teething period. I would like to know, and I imagine it would serve to motivate prospective applicants by the next window. Thank you.
