Does it mean that one can buy the scratch card and go to the jamb website to fill it by oneself?I actually thought one would need an access code for the site.pls someone should clarify for me

Acceptance fee of 65k in Uniben is rather on the very high side.With such an amount you will get settled in schools like UI where acceptance fee is just 10000.I really think those in authorities in the southwestern universities in Nigeria are generally more considerate than their counterparts in the south south and south east regions.God help us

You sounded rather too abrasive.Does God come down to eat money?I really think it is high time we got somethings right.I am not going to embroil myself in any argument but I know that we are not getting it right when it comes to the deployment of the financial resources of the church

God did not say you should give your TITHE (God's 1/10th demand) to the poor...

If you want to give to the poor, c'mon, you can even give your FULL salary after paying the tithe to the church..
You can get a big loan and give to the poor, NO ONE will stop you..

And only a f00l will practise that which you suggested...
You don't need to show the whole congregation what you want to give.... Invite them to your house, pack your belongings and money and properties for them
BUT
Your tithe is for God! Try and change his order by trying to use your "professor wisdom" and you're doomed...
If God wanted us to do that, he'd have given us the commandment!

Pls where did you get the information about the commencement of sales of DE scratch cards from?I just checked the Jamb's site and there is no info to that effect

Pls,UI wil not admit you.They accept 21.Even though I applied wit a 2.1 in Botany and a very good O level,I was not admitted.The UI admission committee sent me a mail telling me that I was not admitted because I uploaded my Credentials in a wrong web page.I just could not believe the lie.

Bigmoses88: I intend going to UI with DE 2013/2014 to study medicine. I finished from LAUTECH in year 2011/2012. My discipline is Agric Econ & Extsn and GPA is 3.19. I had 8 subjects in WAEC O'level result at one sitting. Can UI consider my admision? U can mail me through bigmoses88@gmail.com

danox: Good morning Docs in the house.pls I need your help.Will Unilag admit someone with a first degree in Botany through direct entry into Medicine?I am asking cos I applied to UI last year but I was not admitted even though I av 2.1 and my O level grades are equally good.I personally concluded dat probably it is because of the course Botany.Pls I wil appreciate your responses cos I am seriously considering buying the UTME form if I cannot be admitted thru DE wit Botany

Gunners160 you are absolutely wrong on that.My friend with a first degree in Microbiology was admitted into medicine just last year in UNILAG

Fynestboi thanks for your observation.The bottom line is that make sure you make thorough research on the requirements for the course you intend to study in UI before you fill it in your Jamb.There is more to their admission than meet your eyes.God wiil favour your pussuit in UI

I agree with dafoly in toto.I had a practical experience wit UI last yr.I applied for direct entry into Medicine and Surgery with a 2.1(4:27/5.00) degree in Botany from OAU Ife and my O level is made up of 4 distinctions and 4 credits wit A1 in chem,phy and Maths but I was not admitted.There was no written nor oral test for DE applicants.The admission committee of UI sent me a mail falsely accusing me of not uploading my credentials at the recommended web page hence they could not see my application when collating the first batch list.I was then asked to send three other prefered courses which I could be considered for when they were collating the supplementary list.Having had a degree in Botany,I found the request very hilarious.I however responded telling them that it was Medicine I wanted.Of course I was eventually denied the admission for no just cause.The claim of the committee about my credentials is a very bogus one because I have my print outs from the website as evidence that I uploaded my credentials at the recommended web page.I am still contemplating on going for an MSc but the problem is that I do not like Botany at all.I have finished NYSC for quite sometime now yet i am just teaching in a private school wit a very meagre pay.I really need to upgrade.I am still passionate about Medicine but time does not seem to be on my side

Talking about UI admission,I had an experience last year which got me stupefied.I applied for direct entry into Medicine and Surgery with a 2.1 degree(4.27/5.00) in Botany from OAU Ife and my O level result is made up of 4 distinctions and 4 credits wit A1 in chem,phy and Maths.Painfully,I was not admitted even though we were not subjected to any form of written or oral test.The most disappointing part of the whole experience was that the UI admssion commitee sent me a mail falsely accusing me of not Uploading my Credentials in the recommended web page,hence they could not see my application when they were compiling the first batch list.I was then asked to forward three other prefered courses which I could be considered for when they were collating the supplementary list.Of course,since Medicine was what I wanted having had a degree in Botany already,I found their request very hilarious.I replied them that it was Medicine I wanted.I was eventually not admitted.For me I just felt I was denied the admission for flimsy reasons Cos I actually uploaded my credentials on the recommended web page and I have my print outs from the site as undeniable evidence
