Some1 mentioned a water project commissioned by fashola but sponsored by Oando, dats a typical example of what I be saying that Lagos development is been driven by private sector activity not fashola, fashola has helped in allowin an enabling enviroment but that's a function majorly of lagos been a trading hub with seaports. For that person sayin FG did nothin 4lagos those seaports alone has empowered lagos more dan oda states, TINAPA coulda opened Calabar and d south south and east 2 commerical activities and income generation if FG had honored its part and dredged d waterways 2calabar cos any1 who knows d naija waterways knows 75 percent of shipps berth @lagos cos of our shallow waterways inland. So dnt undervalue d giant contribution d FG and nature made 2lagos development. Pls I have not seen a fashola sponsored project that warrants d huge debt profile unlike oda underdeveloped state which are starting 4rm scratch.

Did u all see the debt profile of the states, Lagos is the most indepted state and what is fashola using all that money for. Fashola doesn't spent up to half of lagos state revenue on d development of that state because every developement in Lagos is private sector driven and lagos generates a lot of revenue 4rm taxes. Let's not also forget that Lagos has always been better developed than any other state by virtue of the fact that it was once FCT and just like how dey are developin abuja with Nigeria's money that's how lagos enjoyed that benefit too. Truth is Fashola is a thief like every other politician, I only commend him for at least making the policies that allow lagos thrive commercially but let's not 4get that the FG already developed lagos to be the commericial nerve point of Nigeria even during military Era. Now Nigeria as a how is a mass of underdeveloped lands and I doubt fashola can handle that as he inherited an already developed lagos. D governor I could give a try is Donald duke because he developed his state 4rm scratch and changed the houseboy and housegal mentality of his state as he made.
