The fact that the existence of sth cannot be proven does not mean it does not exist!

People say they believe in the existence of God, and believe (or belief) implies that the thing in question may/may not be true. Belief is an opinion, contingent, a possibility.

It is good if this idea that 'God' does not exist is not spread any how cos @ school, we only use it to score marks (Many of the lecturers in Philosophy go to church and Mosque). Ire o!

I read on the second thread (on this nairaland abt SPGS) that som1 scored 52.

But a lot of people claimed that the aggregate score is just the exam score. They said class of degree and school attended+prof certs would be considered also.

So na to hope on God for the best.

Ok so, I called a very reliable staff of my department to inquire about the overall scores and the chances of getting on the list, and she informed me that the overall score is 100, and the cut-off for PT is 60, FT is 50. She said "Aggregate Scores" meant that everything has been factored into the result already.
1. Exam scores
2. Work experience
3. Class of degree
4. Professional qualification

Like I said, "a very reliable source", but I hope she wrong o, because if not,... Ewooooooooo!!

Reliable? I have read on this forum and other that people with 30.58 and below already saw their names on the list (and some saw recommended). So this appears to have come from a reliable source but the confirmation of those people negate the reality of what she told you. Reliable source may be unreliable a times.

1st if u have a good score then u have a better chance cos i heard MBA qtns were quite simple. The person that helped me isn't in school atm and am also out f lag ( i don go find how i go chop ) and again i said mine isn't MBA. merci

But "not MBA o" could mean it is your department (especially the way you quickly pointed it out) or when mgt is mentioned, people always think about MBA?

Take for instance someone studied accounting and graduated wt a "lower" feeling very bad nd depressd. Then wants to go for masters in same course in UI, only to be rejected cos of the "lower" class of degree...

How do you think this person would feel taking up a PGD in his own course?

NB: You are JUST fortunate to have whatever class of degree you are holding.

First you said they DON'T and now someone said they do (story change).

Those with 2.2 or 3rd class didn't kill anybody, it is just what they graduated with.

Mind u, i was a University scholar (I'v cert for that).
