I dont think University of Ibadan accept 2.2 for masters programs

Objection overruled.

University of Ibadan accepts not only minimum of 2.2 in all courses but also third class in some designated courses for MSc directly. I have friends there with lower grades currently on their programs too.

Take for instance someone studied accounting and graduated wt a "lower"
feeling very bad nd depressd. Then wants to go for masters in same
course in UI, only to be rejected cos of the "lower" class of degree...

How do you think this person would feel taking up a PGD in his own
course?

u.i certainly accepts 2.2 and contrary to your claim, graduates of
2.2 from u.i can apply for masters without pgd in their respective
departments where they obtained their first degree. Graduates of other
institution may fit into ur claim as regards competitive depts like
Econs.

I read on the second thread (on this nairaland abt SPGS) that som1 scored 52.

But a lot of people claimed that the aggregate score is just the exam score. They said class of degree and school attended+prof certs would be considered also.

So na to hope on God for the best.

Boss, from my small experience, I tnk u can do pgd in comp science (MiT is part time only - 225000) and I tnk, with wht u have, lag ll take u for pgd. U may go to d dept to ask if ur luck culd take u to MSc straight.

You dont write entrance exam but interview. Go to your department and ask if the PhD supervisor is available..

You must have a CGPA of 4.00 or 60%
