Even during Buhari regime, when subsidy was on, inflation was still high. So inflation was not caused by subsidy removal. As long as we remain an import dependent country, the naira will be weak.

Osun is different from Nigeria. I dont know why everybody keeps referring to Osun.
What happened in Osun which is the election victory of Adeleke is not new in Osun State. Maybe because we have APC in Power at the Federal level now.

It also happened during Aregbesola administration, the PDP also used federal might but such cant work in Osun. The people's will always prevail.

But Osun scenario cant be used to judge the presidential election. Osun election is an off cycle election, During the general elections, there are high tendency of glitches, because there will be lot of pressure on INEC systems.

It is not called coastal highway because it will be near the coast, it called coastal because it traverses the southern coastal states acting like a bypass, the economic importance can still not be fell now till after its completion, it will open up the economic zones across these states.

Their family produced the first Executive Governor of the State. Their father was an illustrous son of Ede, a senator during the Second Republic and a philantropist.

As respected as their family is, they dont determine who becomes governor in Osun State. Just like the Sarakis in Kwara and Tinubu family in Lagos.

The past governors in Osun State were not determined by the Adeleke family, just like you have in Lagos. So if you say personal property for decades, you are grossly misinformed. A single family cant own Osun. There are lot of political families here .

Yes they collected money and voted but the highest bidder won just as it is always in Nigeria election cycle. It happened in Anambra,where gala and malt was shared and in Ekiti, where money was also shared but not as much as what played out in osun state.

Osun is different from all the states you mentioned, we are unique. This is the election in Osun State with the largest participation so far, with a million voters marching to the polls.

And most of the votes for Adeleke is from the Goodwill he enjoys from his people. He is loved and free with the people.

Not all voters took money in Osun to vote any candidate.

The way we see the money distributed here in Osun is different from the way the people from those states you mentioned see it.

In Osun state, we see those monies as our entitlement and collective patrimony, we collect the money and vote for the candidate that enjoys our goodwill.
If you share malt and gala in Osun, if the people dont want to see your face, and you are not a talk and do governor, you are on a long thing.
