But not everyone collected money from politicians. It is not a matter of highest buyers.
Goodwill from your people is greater than any money you can distribute. Money without goodwill is nothing.

The entire Osun State showed gratitude to Adeleke by voting him in because of his laudable projects scattered around the state.
We are not ingrates here, we are Omoluabis.

Osun has never had an illiterate as a governor since its inception.
You dont have to be a university Don or work in public service for years to govern a state.
One factor is your family pedigree, the Adeleke family is well respected political family in Osun State. And no member of that family is an illiterate. Most studied abroad.
Which state is heavily industrialized in the entire South West except Lagos. So i dont know how you are able to rank Osun has the most backward. Most states in SW are civil service states just like Osun State.

Osun has a lot of potential. We are sitting on vast amounts of minerals , Gold in particular.
Mining and agroprocessing is the future of the State.
And there is a lot of arable land for agriculture here. The future is bright for Osun.
Concrete roads are being flagged across the state connecting Osun to Oyo to Lagos State.
With these roads Osun to Lagos will be reached in less than 2hrs because you are going to bypass Ibadan to link the Lagos - Ibadan Superhighway.With these projects, Osun's industrial development will be fastracked in the coming years.

LMAO… saying it was deal that made him win is unfounded. Those of us from Iwo voted for him based on what he did for which no other administration has ever done. Iwo is traditionally an APC LGA, but Accord managed to win there.

Osun has a unique pattern, especially when it’s being sensed that some set of people want to deploy federal might. The same thing happened in 2014 when Aregbesola won his reelection during Jonathan’s regime.

Osun is not a kind of state you will be cutting deals with some individuals and be rest assured you would win. The votes you will get will be from your party faithfuls, others will vote against you. That is Osun! There’s no godfather, they don’t last!

You really understand Osun politics to some extent, Iwo is a traditionally APC stronghold but Adeleke won the LG, the same as Modakeke and Ife North, but this time around those places flipped,Osun politics is not about making deals and agreements, we as citizens are concerned about good governance and enthusiastic about democracy, we are educated and sophisticated.

Most of these politicians in Osun especially Oyetola are not grassroots politicians. The grassroot politicians among them are low.

Adeleke enjoys goodwill from the people of Osun. He is charismatic and ebullient just like Aregbesola.;and he continues his Davidic Dance as he always triumphs over his enemies.

We speak with our votes here in Osun, no politics. Which when we are resolute, we push our will through. Violence and intimidation doesnt work here infact more people participated in these elections than previous elections in Osun State.

If I had to choose who to follow between Omisore and Oyetola, I wouldn't think twice before dumping Oyetola. As bad and stained as Omisore is, he is wiser. Even as old as he is like you pointed out, I would still go for him. But of course, Omisore is not someone I can ever follow. Im just saying that if I am left with the two...and for me to choose him...you should know that you made a terrible decision following Oyetola. And you still cant see it. He is born to lose. Ife constituency is very large, it comprises of Ife modakeke, including surrounding suburbs like Moro, Famia, Akinlalu and the Entire Ife North and South. You cant expect them to vote because of a politician who is not on the winning team and a party not wanted by the people.
You are only talking about Ife and Ede, what about Iwo ? As a candidate, once you loose Iwo, Ife , Ede, Osogbo and Olorunda LGs, forgot about being a governor in Osun State. If you win other LGs, you need block votes from those LGs, to win the governorship.

What of the 2023 gov. elections in Osun State? Tinubu also wanted it to happen ? The will of the people is greater than anybody. That election was so funny that Tinubu left Osun State with disgrace helpless, while Oyetola lost the election.
For Imo State, did you check the judgement, you only heard the news. Meet a legal practitioner, and he will explain the judgement to you .

You get time they answer all these mumus. If it was Tinubu's plan to let it happen why was the post election period turned into a war. Many dont even know the political dynamics of Osun, they just analyse politics here from afar.

Many think party structure wins elections, which is not. The will of the people does. In Osun, we dont vote political parties, we vote personalities, if you are not charismatic, ebullient and your integrity cant be easily measured by the citizens, you are going nowhere though you may be a technocrat with ideas. Adeleke has proven to be a talk and do governor.

Tinubu only allowed this election to go Adelekes way. It is not free and fair. He knows if Adeleke wins, he will help him work from grassroots during 2027 election but if apc wins, the people will revolt and use the anger to stand strongly against apc in the presidential election. A beg rest, the Will of the people is greater than anybody, time have changed. One of the game changers in these elections is the IreV. Firstly, in Osun, God is with us. The elections in Osun was free and fair, the APC in Osun has not said it is going to court on the results, if they do, which evidence do they have? As at Saturday evening, almost 70% of election results had being uploaded to the IreV, we already knew the outcome .
The will of the people always prevails in Osun, the political dynamics is different here from the rest of the SouthWest.

I am yet to confirm whether it was the protectors of the votes that died, or the riggers.

No one died during the elections, the deaths were before the elections .

This is how we have being following our votes to collation centres since 2014 elections, it is not new in Osun State.

So who told you the citizens dont follow their votes to the collation centers in other states like Ekiti.

Following votes to collation centres is not new in Osun State, we love and are enthusiastic about democracy and good governance.

Osun State was the Wild Wild West in the First Republic during the AG crisis which snowballed into a national disaster.
You cant do anyhow with the people's will here. Do am, you go collect.

If they rig,the evidence against them will be overwhelming that it will be easy for Adeleke to get the mandate back. Remember IreV was not used in the presidential election.The eyes of entire world was on Osun State that if you want to rig with IreV, you will think twice. Do you even know the history of the southwest. Osun State is the Wild Wild West during the First Republic, rigging that election could have snowballed into a national crisis.

Election does not favour anyone, Oga. Election no be weather. When there is no interference, and people speak with one voice in a free and fair election, it will be self-evident, it is the interference and attempts to influence and manipulate that put democracy in danger.

It is difficult to manipulate an election where as at yesterday evening, almost 70% of the polling results was on the INEC IreV portal. We already knew the outcome
It is difficult to rig with Irev, what is in my polling station pasted is what is on IreV.

You cant say Ekiti voters are not sane, because they voted APC, each state has its own pecularities, In Osun we vote personalities, not parties llikewise Ekiti.
Success of elections by any candidate in Osun State is all about your popularity, and Charisma, furthermore Adeleke kept his promise with Osun people especially workers. The talk and do governor who believes in possibilities .

In Edo state, we all know Okpebholo is in change. In Osun state, Dupe and Deji Adeleke, two unelected family members of the governor's family the ones ruling the state. The state is now a full Adeleke enterprise and that is why they are unleashing terror on everyone in a desperate attempt to keep power by all means.

APC wants to impose its candidate on the Osun people thru violence, intimidation and propaganda but the dancing governor is loved by the Osun people .

The APC candidate's nemesis is former Governor Oyetola, what he does not realise is that Osun State people does not want to see his face, talkless of parading a candidate and wanting to impose on the people.

The APC in Osun is not fighting for equality in Osun State accusing the governor of nepotism but they are fighting for their own selfish interests.

There's a lot of noise on this Osun state election. Like wetin dey that place? It's unfortunate that great minds like Adeboye and Kumuyi, and great places like OAU, Ile-Ife are in that state producing the kind of mediocre governors that they've had. i don give up on dem since Aregbe days. i'll like to be pleasantly surprised, though, but i didn't see anything inspiring in both the incumbent and his contenders. A failed state not anywhere near its potentials.

Failed state in which sense ? You yourself look at your mediocre reasoning? Have you ever heard this kind of noise before in Osun State, at least we have being having elections, the APC is trying to play rehearsal for 2027,with Osun elections making it do or die affair. No one can compare Iran with Nigeria, in terms of mastering technology. If not for the war, various cities across the country are large industrial sites, how many things do we produce locally here, ordinary toothpicks we cant manufacture. We still import.
We still cant cure the disease of bad leadership ravaging our country, we are against a nation which has decided to take its destiny in its hands through resilience and self determination.
