AwesomeRomeo:Don't worry, the ram expander will tell you it's speed after it has finished creating the swap file... |
AwesomeRomeo:First attempt your memory card, and if it lags, then try your phone storage. But it will tell you the speed of the path you have chosen after creating the swap file... If it's 6mb/second and above, that should do... |
AwesomeRomeo:It is normally written at the back of the SD card e.g C10, C4 e.t.c... |
AwesomeRomeo:Yes, it is. |
AwesomeRomeo:If the memoryinfo & swapfile check is installed on your phone successfully, and it showed you your memory and phone info, then you're good to go! |
dozmandon:That's not how it works. Regardless of the free space you have on your SD card, the speed of that memory is the only thing that matters first. If you are satisfied with the speed, and you think the performance is smooth enough, then you can proceed to increase the size of your ram to your taste. Note: you will need to delete the old swap file and then create new one by specifying the size of storage you want to use.
|
dozmandon:it's not fast enough... But You can still use your phone storage, just move some of the files in your phone storage to your memory card to free space for the swap file. |
dhjksas:Don't be scared. The post has been updated... |

This is a tutorial on how to expand the ram of your android devices in order to play heavy games without lags... NOTE: ROOT IS REQUIRED! Also, you need to check if the ram expander is compatible with your phone using memoryinfo & swap file check MemoryInfo & Swapfile Check: The purpose of this program is to test whether your device (Kernel!) is compatible with ROEHSOFT RAMEXPANDER Download from the link below. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yh4kifee16fmr99/MemoryInfo%20%20%20Swapfile%20Check.apk?dl=0 Follow the steps below to configure the ram expander Step 1: download and install rehosoft ram expander from www.androsurf.com Step 2: open the ram expander, press the menu button on your phone and select SWAPDIR. Step 3: You will see 4 different storage paths which you can choose one out of them to create a swap file. Note: If you'd like to use your SD card path, make sure your SD card is nothing less than class 10, if not, it will lag the performances of your phone. But you can choose the phone storage path, it's always has great speed and it's the one I used in the video tutorial. Step 4: Activate the ram expander and wait for it to finished creating the swap file. Viola! Your ram has just been increased... You can increases it up-to 4gig depending on the storage space you have. Don't forget to follow me here> https://www.nairaland.com/dareking48pro for updates on android phones tips and tricks... Tos87:The option A mostly work on pc. In fact, that's the best option if you're using a computer. Most of the computer video players are powerful and they easily detect the .srt file if it's inside the same folder with the movie. But on android devices, vlc player took the lead in my own opinion and option B works perfectly okay! |
Tos87:Step 1 - Type the name of the movie you are looking for it's subtitles in the search box in any of the above websites. When you find it, click on it and download your preferred language. Note: The file will download mostly in .zip format. You will need to extract the .srt file into a folder. Step 2 - This stage depends on the player you are using on your phone. There are two ways you can simply employ to make the subtitles to appear in the movie. Option A: Locate the folder in which you save your movie (.mp4, Avi, Dvdx e.t.c) using the file manager on your phone or any other app that does the same work, e.g FX file chooser. Then go and copy the .srt file you extracted into the same folder you have your movie. Your player should automatically add the subtitles. Option B (Recommended): This is the one I illustrated in the video up there, because most times that option A fails to work. Firstly, you will need to have installed VLC player on your phone, if you don't have, search Google and download it. Extract the .Zip you downloaded from the websites above into a folder (I do create a new folder and named it 'subtitles'). Open your VLC player and wait for it to load all the movies on your phone. Then proceed to play and pause the movie you want to add the subtitle. Click on the option tab and locate "add subtitles". Click on it and it will take you to your folders, locate the .srt file you extracted and click on it, it will start showing the subtitles when you start playing the movie. This option is more reliable and works perfectly well. If you experience any difficulty, don't hesitate to ask me for help or watch the video tutorial. |
Tos87:I will try and do that bro... |

There was a time I downloaded an Indian movie with the hope that it has subtitle already embedded in it. But unfortunately, the movie has no subtitle. I was furious (because I used my hard earned money to buy the mobile data which I used in downloading the movie), and so I deleted the movie; unknowingly to me that I could add the subtitle to the movie by myself. That was what prompted me to make this video tutorial to show you how to simply download and add subtitles to your favorite movies and avoid going through the same ordeal I went through. Firstly, here are three reliable websites below where you can get your subtitles from: 1- www.subscene.com (Best for TV series subtitles) 2- www.moviesubtitles.org 3- www.opensubtitles.org Watch the Tutorial below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HfEhSdpHkI Step 1 - Type the name of the movie you are looking for it's subtitles in the search box in any of the above websites.
