Three Baltimore men who were wrongly imprisoned for 36 years in Maryland, United States have been set free after a review of the murder case they were prosecuted for and derived they at not guilty of the offense charged against them.



Alfred Chestnut, Ransom Watkins and Andrew Stewart were accused of being responsible for the murder of 14-year-old DeWitt Duckett who was shot in the neck on his way to class at a Baltimore junior high school and also stealing his Georgetown University jacket.

However, the case proved them guilty even when they are not and had no face the consequences charged against them.

They were released from custody on Monday November 25, hours after a judge cleared their convictions and prosecutors dropped the charges.

FUTA expels school father, School daughter and other who assaulted their colleague in recent Viral Video.

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has expelled the students who were found culpable in the physical assault of another student in a recent viral video.

The news dominated headlines earlier this month and the students who were earlier suspended have not been expelled.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye has donated a sum of N10 million to the University College Hospital, Ibadan - The pastor donated the money for a hemodialysis machine that cost N10 million - Adeboye's son, Leke, recently revealed that his father has promised to donate two more machines General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has donated the sum of N10 million to the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, Oyo state.

It was gathered that the N10 million was used to purchase one hemodialysis machine for the hospital. The machine is said to be used to filter a patient's blood to remove excess water and waste products in the blood.

The pastor shared a post on his Instagram page, explaining that God had charged him to donate the hemodialysis machine to the school hospital. He said he left his home after his morning devotion to commission the machine.

In his post, Adeboye revealed that he realised that the hospital needed more help. He said he was led by the Holy Spirit and made a decision to donate two more.

Adeboye's son, Leke, also shared the post on his Instagram page, adding that his father has promised to donate two more machines at the sum of N20m.

A bribe-taking Nigerian Policeman has been seen in a now viral video lying to his colleagues about the amount of bribe he collected from a motorist. The unidentified policeman was seen in the four-minute video arguing and bargaining with the motorist in Pidgin-English for a fee of N20000. Though the date and location the incident occurred was not immediately available at the time of filing this report, bribe-taking policeman sought for money from the motorist who held out a wad of 1,000 naira notes.

Some Boko Haram terrorists and their wives have surrendered to Nigerian soldiers in Borno.

No fewer that 16 Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters and their wives have surrendered as troops intensify operations against insurgents.

Several others were reportedly killed during the raid of the bandits’ hideout.

According to a statement by Nigerian Army Operations Media Coordinator, Colonel Aminu Iliyasu, the insurgents surrendered when they could no longer bear the heat of the artillery bombardment of their hideout.
