I have been there and authenticated my own document and I can say there is no need for any agent currently except a guide to help you understand the portal which is self explanatory already because all the document is fully handled online. Even the transcript you speak about has to be emailed from your school to MOE even if you have the original or not. No 2 ways about it

If you've been to MOE before now,you will understand better.

All you need to do is to swear to an affidavit then take the affidavit to your school. Your school will issue you to whom it may concern. No school will give you another certificate but the to whom it may concern will cover up for you.

If you have your original transcript with you, you don't need to contact your school again. Just contact an agent and he would get it done for you.

You don’t need to as long as your documents are ok and no forged one.

One of the most important things you can do for this journey is to evaluate your Degree through Zab. Even though your Degree and your School is on Anabin. It saves the long process of verifications and makes them perceive you as being ready.


Also, make sure the company intending to give you the contract goes through Agentur für Arbeit to evaluate the salary and see if it is matches the role they are offering to you. You might be denied even though your documents are ok but your salary doesn’t meet the minimum threshold for the role offered.


If possible, ask the company to help you do a ‘Fast Track Procedure’ it means ‘beschleunigtes Fachkräfteverfahren‘. It will cost the company €411 to do it. Due to the cost, not every company will want to do it but if they eventually agree, after your physical appointment at the embassy, within 4weeks, you'll get your visa approved.

I just got a legit information from someone here that left Nigeria to Germany via Germany Skilled worker visa. The only verification he did was Zab. The ministry of education and foreign Affair are not required.

Recognition is what confirms your Nigerian qualification is equivalent to a German one and is a core requirement for the skilled worker route.
So to directly answer your question, yes you need to visit or go through both ministries for the authentication process, and separately you need to pursue qualification recognition through the appropriate German channel for your specific profession.

I would recommend also verifying current requirements directly on the German Embassy Nigeria website at nigeria.diplo.de since specific document checklists can vary and are updated periodically.

I’m trying to upload my documents so I can register on the waitlist, but I’m confused on the birth certificate section, it’s say the certificate should contain information about your parents, my birth certificate contains just my name and my mothers name.

And also do I need to legalize it cos I checked the foreign public documents for use in Germany and Nigerian and other countries are excluded from some documents.

ZAB takes three months after payment to come out

I just submitted my Zab application and planning to pay the fees from next week. I've error on my WAEC result and I had done affidavit which I submitted with my waec result during application.

I needed to do ZAB which took 3months, I had to do alot of affidavit because most of my documents had name issues.

These HCP recruitment guys put me for mind...very wicked sets of people....They said because I click BSc why na HND and PGD I get, that was why they didn't send me test information. Who does that na....didn't they see the CV in the first place?
