Everyone has the capacity to experience lust, and as long as we are flesh, lust will be a possibility. Imagine a 'lust balloon' within each of us, which fills up with capacity. When it's full, we're compelled to act out physically, often leading to addiction. We have three options when faced with lustful thoughts: 1. Let them go completely (surrender) 2. Fight them down into our subconscious 3. Dwell on them, fueling them until they overpower us Surrendering requires willingness, faith in God, and self-awareness. It means surrendering our temptations to God, rather than asking Him to remove them. We must also pray for the person or thing we're lusting after, recognizing them as a child of God with their own thoughts, feelings, and dreams. If we only let go of 95% of our lustful thoughts, the remaining 5% will still fill up our balloon, leading us back to addiction. Dwelling on lustful thoughts will quickly fill up our balloon, leading to physical acting out. To overcome lust, we need faith in God, humility, and self-awareness. We can't overcome addiction without acknowledging and surrendering what we're holding onto. Regular meetings and support can help us grow in faith, humility, and self-awareness, enabling us to overcome lust and other struggles. |
Hmmm.. I wonder how many people he's misleading with this lie called information. |
It's okay to exchange words, but let it be the Word of God. It’s fine to fight, but let it be the fight of faith. Christians are a different species of people, and we are expected to be different and holy in the way we handle matters. That is what we are called to do: to live like Christ on earth. You're not the pepper of the world but the salt. The world needs help, and you can't afford to act casually and ignorantly about this after accepting the life of Christ. The fruit of the Spirit you bear is not an ornamental crop; it's not for decoration. People will come for it; they will seek that love, joy, peace, etc., because they are in need of it. Some may approach in ways that seem unbelievable. You should not be offended; instead, see with the eyes of the Spirit that it's beyond what you think. You cannot stop bearing fruit, and you’ll need to be patient with them as they grow and begin to bear fruit themselves. That is the goal. This mission is possible, and it is possible only in Christ. Light and darkness have nothing in common. You can't sit on the fence; it’s either you are black or white. Retrace your steps and go back to God for forgiveness. You don't have strength of your own. Your life is now hidden in Christ with God. Avoid Dualism |
In our world today, we have many emotional Christians rather than true ones. In churches, you'll find them in that teary posture, crying at every sounding and resounding word, yet no true change occurs. They can be as gentle as a dove in church, but watch them after service; the reverse is the case. They become iron breakers and no-nonsense takers. Brothers and sisters, as long as you are in Christ, remain there! Don’t live a double life; don’t allow circumstances to change your state. It is more than a decision; it is a state. Just as a fish cannot survive outside the water, you cannot survive outside of Christ, even with your bravado. God did not call us to visit Him; He called us to stay in Him. He said, “Abide in me, and I in you” (John 15:4). Don’t show yourself; show Christ... His righteousness and qualities. Don’t be godly one minute and worldly the next. As an ambassador of the Kingdom of God, you don’t behave or talk anyhow. You don’t act, move, or think anyhow; you do what pleases God and His Kingdom, not yourself. Rest is established when you are in Christ always, and He is in you always. You are not of this world, so don’t expect everything to be rosy. Don’t expect everyone to laugh with you, and don’t be deceived by what you think you can do with your flesh. Your flesh is as weak as it was before you met Christ, and it will profit you nothing even now. Avoid dualism. |
