For now, the info i have for the long awaiting jamb result is that 2,829 score from 300 and above while 11,000 scored from 1 to 160. So relax ok and hope for the best.

Actually, am not in the position to give such info, i say the one am sure of you. The sector i work with gives info based on the source they get it from. I will be on 2go this evening for any info i will gather from the office today concerning the jamb.

No,not at all but whoever is writing/wrote jamb is doing/did so to enter a government university. Remember, the thread is about next plan after jamb and not general plan about education. There are many private universities that are much better than most government universities.

If you can't stand by your course why did you choose it in the first place?
So we should change our course just to enter the University, and doing something else just to be there? I'd rather not enter at all, if its not my chosen course. I would not change it no matter what.
If all fails, i'd go to a private university.

People always wish the best for themselves, when the best is not coming, they hope for the better and if the better fails to come along, good must come. You didnt write the jamb to end up in a private university.

If i were a prospective student, after seeing my jamb score and know my stand, i will calculate and know a course i will be able to get the score in pume depending on my jamb score and then rush and grab a change of course form in order not to lose this year's admission. We are not wishing anybody bad luck, we trying to be realistic.

pls, verify, what u said about UNIZIK.

@serendipity, last year unizik mutiplied pume score by 4, add the jamb score to it and divide all by 2 to get your aggregate. Check other years and see how they did it. The subject asks you to state which one is the problem in admission and not looking for fault in people's update.

Its a choice you make for yourself. Usually, a lot decisions follow up as the results are released but do not make a wrong one no matter how good or bad the result is.

Now the result is almost out, what is next? What do you have in mind? What and how do you feel?

Right now many schools have made it clearly and obvious that for anybody to get admitted in their institutions solemnly depends on your performance on both jamb and pume. Most of them make use of the average of the two like UNN, some divide by pume by 8 and jamb by 4 and add like UNIZIK and so many other schools. In any ways, admissions in universities today depend solemnly on your performance on both. So the question is, to you, which one affects the admission more and why and how?

I can see everything turning around for good for all of you but please dont be greedy. Wish something positive and real for yourself and it must sure come to pass.

What do u target to score in this year's jamb or what do you wish for your sister, brother or friends?

Here on education section, atimes certain posts need some proper check and investigations before blocking or deleting them. Let someone not over use his or her power and intimidating others. @everyone,be you the owner of the forum or the moderator or just a member,we all have on thing good or the other to share no matter what. Talking about being smart,everyone is.
@odunnu,i have said it before, make a proper investigation before you delete or block certain posts cuz some of them might be useful and true. Am not smarter than you are,neither are you smarter than i am. Remember, you were once like one of us, just a member,posting and replying, that you became a moderator today was not by being the smartest,you were just opportuned and wanted to be. So please, stop the intimidation and over usage of your power.
