Tension seems to rise in the JayKech ship as Jay vows to get his own pound of flesh from Roksie and Bolar.

Following the strain between Jay and Arnold on this week’s Nomination results, Jay told Nkechi that he still feels betrayed by the Nominations from Bolar and Roksie. According to him, he had passed some compliments to Rosie saying, “She was wearing my favourite color purple and I told her I wouldn’t Nominate her for that reason.”

He went ahead to swear on getting his revenge on them. Nkechi who was clearly not comfortable with his man’s reaction, calmly told him, “…But it was Kachi that Nominated you, not Rosie.”

We’re not sure what seems to be getting Jay upset about being on the Nomination block; could it be because it’s the first time JayKech is facing possible Check Out? Or perhaps he felt betrayed after pledging with some of the Love Guests not to put each other up for Check Out during Nominations.

Confrantanities now exist in the isolated house where the contestants of the love reality show, Ultimate Love, reside called Love Pad. The contestants called Love Guests are on a mission of finding a life partner, and according to their host, Aunty, they are meant to live in love with their co housemates even in a while coping with the tension of the contest.


The relationship between the Love Guests, which began as a thoroughly blended mix of love and unity, has unfortunately turned the other way with different factions of confraternities springing up.

Many of the Love Guests have now found a group that fits into their plight, reactions, and mindsets. Due to discussions that come up after discussions and outpouring of venom from Love Guests, most of them now have their peace identifying with some couples than the other.

Ultimate Love - See why Bolanle and Arnold relationship might not work|Bolanle confided in Rosie..

One of the love guests in the Ultimate Love reality TV show, Bolanle, has told her partner in the Love Pad, Arnold, that he has to work to earn her trust, saying, “Trust has to be built.
She said this to him on Friday while the couple, who are jointly known as BolAr on the show, were discussing their future after the show.



Bolanle, told Arnold, that she feels she does not know a lot about him because he does not like to talk about personal issues.



“You keep telling me there are a lot of things you can’t say till we leave this house. When we leave this house, things are gonna be hitting us left, right and centre. Do we have what we need to be with each other?… Because trust has to be built,” she said.



Arnold replied that they should focus on their time in the Love Pad instead of worrying about the things they do not know about each other.



“We can work with ourselves, not focusing on the things I can’t tell..,” he said.



Bolanle further asked him several questions such as if he had ever promised to marry someone or got anyone pregnant.

Arnold replied in the negative to the questions.


Bolanle later confided in Rosie that marriage scares her.

Ultimate love - Nkechi goes head to head with Bolar|Preshdavid gifts chivia love nest

The tension between Love Guests needed Aunty's intervention, as a result, things are well on their way to being normal.

The Love Pad’s bickering and established tensions drew Aunty’s attention and her intervention might have had an impact, or did it? Word amongst the Love Guests was that the whole situation between Arnold and Jay could’ve been handled better.

In a conversation with Kachi, Arnold told him that if Jay came to him and expressed how distasteful the joke about him being ‘Judas’ was, he would’ve apologised right there and then and there wouldn’t be this tension between them.

However, Nkechi doesn’t see it that way. According to her, the tension between Bolar and Jaykech is a result of Bolar having planned to take them out a long time ago. She related this to Presh Talker who advised her to just let everything go.

In trying to keep the peace in the Love Pad, other Love Guests have distanced themselves from all drama. Chiddy Bankz advised Sylvia to not get involved as did David Wilson to Presh Talker who was adamant that she’ll always lend an ear to Nkechi.

Even though Arnold said they’ve squashed the beef, it doesn’t seem like they’ll stop talking about it.

Presh Talker flipped the script and there was joy as she handed the Love Nest to Chivia. Having occupied the Love Nest before, she felt giving it to Chivia to spend time there was the right thing to do and it was just too beautiful to witness.

Chivia were beaming as usual throughout their chat with Aunty and it would seem that cheerful disposition is getting under the skin of some Love Guests. She didn't reveal the name but apparently someone told Sylvia that her relationship with Chiddy Bankz is fake because they don't quarrel. Naturally, both of them took offense to this because the reason they don't let their tempers get the better of them is simply making a mutual decision to respect each other. Aunty reminded them to trust each other and completely ignore the haters because their opinions mean nothing. With the negativity disbanded, it was time to talk life after the Pad! Chivia are currently discussing living arrangements which are somewhat complicated by the fact Sylvia is still a student and goes to Uni on the other side of Lagos. Aunty commended the progress they've made including Chiddy "singing her love language" with lots of intense, physical intimacy through the week. Other than a few pet-peeves (like Chiddy not showering in the morning where Sylvia is an absolute neat-freak) it's onwards and upwards for Chivia.

We all remember the moment Jay reached out to shake Arnold's hand and the latter laughed and said he should rather kiss him because he was a "Judas" . Sharp words for Jay after he and Nkechi Nominated Bolar two weeks ago.


Jay laughed out loud and walked away but as we'd soon discover, that laughter was merely masking outrage. Yesterday, he penned a letter to Aunty complaining about Arnold saying things that make him seem like a wicked and deceitful person to the public but pretending to be saying them as a joke. As least, this is how Jay perceives it and perception is everything. Jay signed the letter off saying he wasn't going to be responsible for his actions
