In my opinion, yesterday's results between Madrid and Valencia wasn't a shock.

Having played two energy sapping matches in a matter of days, against leganes and Real Sociedad in which they conceeded 6 goals ,with one of the them going into extra time, the team from Madrid were expected to take it easy yesterday in order save energy for their match against Arsenal in the champions League next week.

And that was what they did and because of that lost against a team fighting relegation.

The team from Valencia saw the match as winnable due to the tiredness and lack of focus of the Madrid players.

And so, played the game of their lives to come out victorious. It was an opportunity they knew they couldn't afford the miss.

The best option for the match was both team to score and not Madrid to win. They weren't in a position to win it at all except by luck.
