Everyday I thank God the almighty who made my parents fill my jamb form to choose pharmacy. There is a reason why they do so...so that last last in their old age they will not worry about supporting u.... I also have friends who spent years studying medical related courses that they didn't like but did so because of their parents and they r happy because of it. So bros study am... Computer science can be learnt in ur spare time. Take my advise and 10 yes from now u won't regret... Study well and enjoy it because Bros the streets ain't funny |
starkids:na u oh first of all u don't know her current cd4 levels secondly u don't know whether she will still respond to that regimen since she defaulted for a yr or if they should change her to efavirenz base because of once daily dosing.... And I'm sure u will want them to pay for d drug... Bros d no dey use HIV drug take dey play |
Its crazy to believe that a govt hospital will put those conditions before agreeing to give arvs which r free..... Can they refer her to another hospital? In her own case she may even end up on second line since she defaulted for a yr plus.... Generally I've noticed that when HIV/aids patients r not treated well..they move to other facilities. Currently I work in FMC yenagoa and we have seen patients all the way from abia who come for meds. So generally let her find a better hospital to manage her condition |
I believe in God, I believe in miracles....but if u guys have ever seen a stage two or stage 3 HIV patient.... U might agree that this is staged. More less of those who have tb that has spread outside d lungs. Religion has always been used to decieve Africans |
Heard of such a case in d hospital where I work..... The doctors will later remove the tooth.... |
Good evening ....sent an email to you... Pls do kindly reply |
Pharmacist caring for you Let me start by saying Nigeria has one of the most backwards drug system in the world.... Even Zimbabwe and Ghana do better. And with that i can say that rightly trained pharmacists spend time caring for their patients. As d last point of service in the health care system its our job to ensure that molecules don't cause patients harm.. I can list examples of times d pharmacist where in work care for the patients in their care. So in summary.... Lookout for a pharmacist and not some medicine seller cos he cares for u.... And when u end up in either a community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy ask for the pharmacist |

It will be immensely difficult for many retail pharmacies and hospitals to stock 5th generation cephalosporins ....i doubt if its even popular with doctors and I doubt its even sold in Nigeria because it ain't in the national formulary |
