CRYING IN THE RAIN.

I walked into the yawning
pout of the night
Darkness my beacon.
My memories like storm clouds
Grey in flight, threatening rain.
I wish for this pain
For me to cry in the rain

I remember a gift of flowers
Red roses for my blood crimson
Whites for the bloom east of my heart.
So I drink, un-drink, thirst..,drink
Eternal spring wine of memories
From yesterday-city of sunshine and love
To us-tale of heart breaks. 

I stand...
A climber on trees of lost hope
Kissing the wind.
My soul scorching from tender flames,
My mouth caressing bygone fond names
Unspoken.
I wish for this pain
 For me to cry in the rain.

Have it come to this?
Blues of jazzy gloom
Psalms of wilting blooms?
Must we stand so isolated?
Roses out of Eden.
