This is just those favoured lind of trips like that of Dave onoja when he went travelling overnight on the island.in this case this looks like a ride that started this morning likely from lekki axis when surge was minimum 2.1 and likely to have increased and the rider probably booked the ride the whole day that is why whatever you do on Uber always target surge periods and aread as much as possible. For me going forward monday mornings i must chop inside that surge before going to work.just from freedom park to V.I this morning i chop 2k after a 2k trip to V.I from Anthony..Nice one bro...God bless your hustle.
where that Daveonoja travel go overnight for island sef. undecided

This is visual confirmation of perpetual foolishness in some taxify drivers in general.

Time is 6:09am and they have densely populated VI that is more of a commercial zone, than a residential. Pls who dem wan carry for VI by this time and where will they be going to?

Second picture is a residential zone spanning from 3rd roundabout that these dumb drivers have ignored. People here are trying to get out and get to work but the drivers to pick them up are all in VI, claiming "request no dey" " I no dey get request" "market is dull"

Market will continue to be dull for you and you no go ever get request as long as you choose to remain foolish. From chevron to VI is a little above 2000naira on taxify, but these drivers would claim they cant burn fuel or " I no for blow empty dey go chevron"... Pls, how much fuel will they blow to chevron and how much will they get in return?

your account will continue to remain empty until you change your strategy.
abeg make them continue I see them alot uber/taxify drivers waiting in their cars after I drop person 6:30am for vi some drivers are waiting for workers to resume and close so there can take them home grin meanwhile who no know go no...lekki - epe road in d mornings don mad so let some drivers wait in VI so that they can carry the riders we take to work...after closing

Everytime i see Pictures of this Taxify its like to flee all form of evil..i know you said uber has much more as well but am not so sure but what i know for sure is this everyone cannot operate at the same level but what you said is true drivers cannot sometimes sacrifice to make more and i will give an example...on monday morning i was headed to work .i put in destination trip of Victoria Island but knowing as usual there is 1.8- 2.0 surge coming to V.I and from Yaba where i spent the night till ikoyi no request and i kept being tempted to foray banana island which was having a map surge so i entered bourdillon and then saw that lekki was already on 2.0 but it appears i would have to sacrifice that N300 before i would get any request because Uber would not give you a request in lekki from ikoyi and vice versa ( i think..i may be wrong) cos of that toll fare anf so i quickly did a calculation of cost and saw that with 2.0 surge the extra detour would still profit me and eventually i got a 2.0 surge trip back to V.I and was paid 1300 after uber charge...not so many drivers i know would sacrifice that N300 they would rather hustle in ikoyi on zero surge...it not enough to know route or drive...one also needa to be smart...
spot on...my kind of driver ....

Hi please can you share your strategy. I'm about selling off my Honda 2morrow. But I can change my mind if I know how to make this work. I find it hard making money. Maybe it's my positioning. Please gimme some pointers. And also is it reasonable to use a Nissan Altima 2005 for uber?
wld gladly share bro...hit me up....meanwhile wait on the Honda sale for a while and try out new method and probably make some money from it , bfor selling it

if you promise to do a transfer, i can let you go, but it has to be on uber, so if you failed to, uber pays and deals with it. For taxify, you have to transfer while in the car. And i have 3 means to confirm the payment: Gtbank App, Email or SMS alert. At least one reflects almost instantly.... Shine your eyes guys
shine your eye too ooo Uber does not have transfer option ooo..cash &card...don't take promises..uber has told a driver that I know there are only 2options of payment...complete the outcome

This thread once had lots of hardworking drivers like egbon chillex, romeo, ogunvic (the driver not d fleet manager), myself, blacklola and others, competing daily and weekly, motivating everybody but unfortunately, its been hijacked by lazy drivers that say 100k in a week is not achievable, that say you cannot work 14 hours a day ( how many hours do bankers work), that try to force their conditions on car owners (why u no get car). That say drivers cant earn more than car owners (i continously earned nore than car owners, till i got mine). Pleaee, if u cant do it, keep quiet amd stop demoralizong people. Davenoja, keep it up abeg.

Unrealistic conditions, its either they ask you to come and be parking the car in there house or they carry there children from school after close house and they also want 35k or 40k delivery every week
go back few pages and read the condition i posted... 20k weekly chairman

my brain is okay, u just want to eat ur cake and have it, just get a private driver for madam and end the story..... U don't need to burden a driver to come and do suffer head...... U claim to know the business but u Dont really know jack cos if u do, then u will know drivers dont have a planned schedule..... So if ur driver see a trip to agbara by 3pm, he will have to turn it down becos there is no way he will go to agbara and come back to ilupeju...... Ur sense has turn to akamu
some times i day questions some drivers ability and mentality e.g you.... For your info am a driver too not even a full time driver for more than a year....i go to work everyday and drive everyday my schedule is so well planned that i know where to be at some particular times at all cost even if it means blowing empty to be there and still hit my 10k target daily after fuel..if u think there is no planning in this biz guy u are still a learner...if you are a good driver on the platform and want to hit target daily you wld have a planned schedule.... Whatever you do and you dont plan u are doomed to fail chairman.Look for me make i put you tru its obvious u are still a newbie....to be debating 20k weekly with that condition... Money that u can make... in 1 day friday sat or sunday....u are here talking about getting a request to agbara.... U be joker bring you weekly earnings to me make i do corrections for your timetable i go also show you my own weekly earnings and my planned schedule.. No hard feelings you can also learn more... Big ups dude...

vulpeslopez:
oga,if u wan give out ur car give am outrightly with no conditions..... Forget seriousness and planning, when the poor driver suppose dey edge him go dey reason madam way him go go carry...for a reasonable driver to make money,he needs to work 12hrs daily.....the business is already over saturated to come and be doing part-time private driver/part time kabu kabu driver and still be rogering lord lugard
interested drivers hav been calling chairman...no be by force ooo. So make u park well.but on a 2ND tot if u day think well u wld understand that since the biz is saturated 20K is a good deal that's 15K off. Assuming u day remit 35K and u get offline 15K weekly to take some1 to work and back from that location against traffic u wld turn it down abi.and yet u say it's saturated .come make I expand your brain cos it looks slow
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Daveonoja: 6:00pm On Feb 23, 2018
Coolbenzino:
Honestly the biz is saturated. Really not a good time to invest for intending investors. When last did you see a driver advertising that he needs a car to drive on this thread. Car owners are now begging for drivers.

Until uber/taxify implore means of increasing rider base. Just save your money and don't lose that job.
naaaa u just need to talk to some1 for advice this is unacceptable...by all standard

It's really not about serious ... its about issues that will arise when Driver doesn't meet up... imagine Driver is at Lekki, surge or traffic hit am, so doesn't get to madam till late... what do u think madam will say
bros that's why I said serious. I drive on the 2platforms and it's not even full time cos I have a day to day job but trust me I make not less than 10K daily after fuel.. if I may ask when last u see better surge...omo it's about seriousness and planning... no be learner day find driver ooo...no person were day the game....I sabs
