I think what he meant was that.... assuming he was to make a payment to me as a merchant selling goods. After he must have source for the paypal funds from a supplier, after which the payment was made by the supplier of the PayPal. He wouldn't be able to ask the merchant 'me' for my email notification to verify the payment whether it was FNF or GNS. But I think u can ask for the transaction page from the supplier of the paypal funds regardless, to know if it was FNF or GNS.

I’m afraid I don’t understand your response, you used the word ‘supplier’ but I can’t seem to get whether you are talking from the perspective of the buyer or seller. Either way, my point still is that there’s no way you receive GNS and you won’t know as long as you do the needful. Even if you can’t access your email, you can always log in and check the transaction on your account

That trick shouldn’t work against someone who is thorough. Anytime someone receives PayPal payment, it is expected the person will check the transaction on his/her account to see if he/her had received payment through GNS or FNF. Even checking your email can clarify that

No, I'll pay speaking for myself tho. The truth is that, when you put that clause. The person will be extra careful and will confirm from the source before sending.
People will just be sending and be saying sorry didn't know. Etc.
But I'll pay rather than refund though. Too many refund go kill the account too.

Not collecting 20k first. I like things done once and that's it. If he wants to scam me, let him do it fully and not pay a part then disappear. That way, I will build my case firmly and tackle him head on.

I didn't escalate this whole thing until a week passed. At some point, he messaged after days of being incognito to tell me that he has been busy and doesn't like distractions!

As earlier mentioned, my mind isn't on the money again because I am anticipating another story the next time he shows up on WhatsApp.
