Why do believers rush to pastors to conduct deliverance prayers on them? What is wrong with praying to God with your own mouth?

So how often is deliverance done in deeperlife and MFM

Image123: Do you need deliverance or holiness? They are both good churches anyway. Though deeper seems more rounded but at the end of the day, branches/parishes differ in flavor and a Christian would rather be led by the Spirit of God, not by vociferous opinion.

Does Deeperlife have a strong deliverance team for spiritual warfares on a weekly basis?

I don't want to, God forbid when i have spiritual problems that call for strong deliverance team, rush to MFM when i need deliverance prayers and when the battles are over, move back to deeperlife and, God forbid that i should face spiritual challenges again that need strong deliverance team, move again to MFM.

I want a church that is well rounded(Holiness+Deliverance)

She is an orphan

My close pal is responsible for his girlfriends's upkeep(she is an orphan). She is a student of Imo State University.
He supports her monthly with 30,000 Naira. The money is suppose to support her with feeding, recharge cards, bus fare and other minor expenses. The bigger expenses are covered by her relative. She complains it is too small. And That in a week alone she spends 15,000 naira for cooking alone.

Should he dump her for her ungratefulness, which is becoming unbearable?

How do you deal with the African mentality that anyone living abroad automatically has money to shower on them?
My colleague has tried explaining to his relatives that life abroad is not a bed of roses and that people have to work here, that nothing is free and that because he lives abroad does not mean anytime they request money from him automatically mean that he has money to lavish on them. They do not believe him. They said he's lying that they know other people who live abroad too who are buying houses for other people. What else can he do to convince them?
