there's no sponsor on my i-20. In the "financial section" on my i-20, sponsor is listed $0

Okay so my situation is I’m not funded with any assistantship, it’s personal funding, I have a relative there that would be doing the funding

But he’s asked me not to mention his name and instead say that I’m sponsoring myself to improve my chances


I’d like to ask for your opinion and how to go about it
