We used to hear about the nefarious activities of these Fulani herdsmen almost every single day, in the past.

What happened?

Where did they go?

I'm sure they have continued with their atrocities here and there, but it seems to have reduced substantially...

Now you rarely ever hear about them.

Kudos to the FG for suppressing their heinous, demonic activities.
After that kidnapping of students and teachers
I don’t know what the federal government did
We no hear about them again….
I heard any of them involved thier families would be picked up and killed

SmartyPants:
You people have this talent for talking absolute nonsense. Pull up pictures of any political officer's bodyguards and you will indeed see that most of them have no noticeable muscle mass. They look just like this fellow.

Simultaneously, pull up pictures of any western celebrities bodyguards, and you will notice they look muscular just like our own.

Common sense should dictate that different classes of VIPs have different security needs. Your local celebrity's security largely functions as a bouncer, to keep fans from getting too close. Politically exposed persons don't need that because you can't get close to begin with. Their bodyguards largely function as threat assessors and respond with firearms not brute force.
Those ones are just big for nothing, too slow and guess what they are afraid of knifes and bottles grin

Medicine after death.....Even me that was a spectator knew that the goal shouldn't have stood because even if Haaland was onside, Enzo that was offside interfered with play hence, the goal shouldn't have stood yet more than one professional referee handling VAR want to make us believe they didn't see it and now see what they're calling punishment. grin.

Seriously, the premier League needs to do better about these blatant referee/VAR errors and inconsistencies.....for a league that prides itself as the best in the world....fair and consistent refereeing should be the least of things we should expect from them. undecided.
Person way they for ask to clean the whole seats for next match
Family › Re: She Flares Up Anytime She Is Called To Support Kids'school Fees, Husband Cries by davillian(m): 2:24pm On Sep 14
nickxtra:
Some women are terribly greedy and selfish

How can a husband asks his wife show concern and drop something to support atleast a part of one of the children's school fees/text books and she is resisting?

The husband has been repsonsible for the school fees and wellbeing of the 4 kids, but in this first term, the school fees have increased and the need to get a little support from a wife is creating discord.

The Federal government job the wife is doing was offered to her through the husband(originally meant for him), while the husband rather opted to be in the street hustling and in school too.

To cushion the effect of transportation, the husband had years sold his Bolt business car to buy a tokunbo car for her, as means of getting to and from work. Now the woman is working and at the same time running a side business, using the car as a support.

Anytime issue of supporting the family comes up, she flares up, whereas she sends money to family back home often (which am not critical of).

Out of the 4 kids, the husband has told her to take up a partial responsibility for one of them who is in JSS 3, because the fee is high.

Is it unmanly or wrong for a husband to call a wife to show support for children's school fees(at most partial support for one out of 4 kids)?

Or is she resisting this because she is used to not supporting before now, as i have never called for her support in any way before now?
Never go out of your way to put a woman in a position where she would be bigger than you….
As a man put yourself first or your kids the woman should be the 3rd

Win12345:
It is with sad mood that I put down this for comments.
I bought Redmi 7 Pro refurbished on Jumia on 10 August 2026.
First I received the phone with phone battery down flat, that I have to charge it from 0%.
Second on opening opening the carton was another shocker, phone cover is not the size, it was old type of charging port, the charger is fake, the glass cover break on touching it, the phone is not looking neat.
Third, after two weeks later the power button stopped working.
Fourth, the voice is cracking on Whatsapp call.
Fifth, the phone started hanging and switched off, I pressed the power button it did not come on until after a very long time of pressings.
Sixth, on 5th September the phone started shaking and finally went off, took it to repairers they say the power flex is not available, I have to travel to Island to get the power flex.
Seventh, on fixing the power flex the phone is still shaking, then the repairer told the battery is bad. I have to buy another batter, change power flex yet the power button is still not working.

Please be guided on all these online stuffs, I have other experiences but this is the most painful of them all, having to spend #89,000 for refurbished rubbish.

Politics › Re: Atiku Knocks Tinubu Over Three-week European Vacation, Says ‘Nigeria Is Burning’ by davillian(m): 8:16am On Aug 31
HacheNoire:
We really made big mistakes in the past as a nation!

It is really sad that a Former Vice President can bring up frivolous and baseless accusations against His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)

Atiku was a former vice president— which we all can now conclude was a great mistake. He is aware of communication channels in government, private or NGO establishment.

If Nigeria is burning as falsely claimed, why not follow the communication channels instead of accusing the president about his presence.

So what use will his presence be when we have a structure where responsibilities ante designated?

It’s more sad and appalling that, in 2026, Atiku still believes in presence. His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) can do anything that is demanded of him to do from anywhere in the world.

Atiku should apologize to Nigerians for cajoling us to support his candidacy with Former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

It’s glaring it was a big mistake!
Pdp did better especially obasanjo
Politics › Re: Petrol Price Heads To N1,500 Per Litre As Crude Prices Drop by davillian(m): 8:14am On Aug 31
nairalanda1:
NNPC exports.crude because it is crude still provides most of our government income.

Dangote imports crude because NNPC allotment of crude to him is not enough to feed his whole refinery yet.
But the nnpc cannot refine its own crude
So how do they get petroleum products then
Politics › Re: Petrol Price Heads To N1,500 Per Litre As Crude Prices Drop by davillian(m): 4:32am On Aug 31
Dogalmighty17:
Crude prices dropped yes. However, when an order for crude was placed at a higher price and that shipment is on the sea, gets delivered to the refinery, the gantry price of the refinery will be determined by how much the distilled crude that came in last cost.

Every business fixes its current price based on the cost of inputs. If prices of inputs later drop before existing stock gets exhausted, depending on the level of demand elasticity in that particular industry, the business will maintain its old price using existing stock. The business may only reduce price when new stock bought at lesser prices, are utilised. It takes 5-6 weeks for a ship from the US where Dangote buys his crude, to reach Nigeria. Whatever happens with crude prices after that ship has left the port of origin, has no effect on how much the refinery will sell. Dangote will reduce his price at a later time when he buys crude at reduced prices. Assuming ofcourse the price of crude doesn't increase before his current stock in the refinery needs to be replenished.

That said, why are we focusing on Dangote? Why is no one worried that Nigerian breweries, Guinness Nigeria and Intercontinental breweries seem to have colluded to keep the price of beer high? Beer increased prices when dollar to naira was 1900 or so. The exchange rate is down but beer prices haven't dropped. That to me is a bigger problem.
This country is crazy Dangote imports crude Nnpc export crude…
