As for Amaechi and Obi, Amaechi can only win Obi in the primaries with buying of delegates.
Everyone of them knows Obi's fan base is still intact. Any sidelining him, they'll lose the fanbase. That Obi's fan base together with Kwankwaso northern hegemony is a serious threat for APC and Tinubu.
Anything aside this combination is a huge victory for Tinubu.

To be fair and be truthful, Obi and Atiku are not enemies. I respect Obi more for the maturity when Atiku "betrayed" him; however, Obi showed him that he is a master of the game. And Atiku is the one who should apologise to Obi if he wants to win the next election which I know he cannot win. Likewise, Obi will not win too. And I don't even want Tinubu there. So, I don't care who wins. If Obi and Atiku can get their hands extenely dirty, they might be able to remove Tinubu.

But the main opposition is El-Rufai. And Tinubu will NEVER reconcile with him because he is the stumbling block against Ribadu from taking over from Tinubu. It will NEVER happen.

Okowa was a sitting governor and running mate to Atiku in 2023 but still lost Delta State to Obi by wide margin.

That the governors are moving doesn’t mean the people are moving.

And reducing Kwankwaso to Kano is being disingenuous. He has considerable influence in Jigawa and appeal across other core Muslim states.

There’s no better candidate for running mate to Obi than Kwankwaso and both of them can defeat Tinubu.
