Okay, I just thought it would be easier to interact and explain the documents I submitted as I already don't feel safe uploading my documents here before you even mentioned it. Anyway, I was going to blur any personal information before I send them to you. Note: Uploaded are the list of documents I submitted with my application above. Thanks for your help. Tutu82: 1 Like |

Remember,I have a job to come back to. I can't possibly leave all that behind and stay in UK illegally. From your submission, you think the chances of getting a visit visa is slim. In other words, I should wait till my wife gets her ILR then file for spousal visa or go to a neighbouring country to see each other. Thanks once again. quote author=giselle237 post=122307621] Sir, If you got my point you wont be talking about landed properties. On a balance of probabilities why will you come back to Nigeria sir? Your wife and your child are in the UK… with residential rights… abeg wetin go make u come back?? You didn’t convince this ECO and it is likely going to continue to be so. For ur ppl with LTR and ILR they will never tell u that’s the reason they see u wont come back. Another visa will be spouse visa but when your wife is eligible and that depends on timing… since she is on her last 2.5 yrs. if it’s ok and u really need to see each other maybe neighbouring countries will do… but I know the angle the ECOs will keep using and this is how it will continue for next VISITOR applications
|

I get your point. I provided my landed properties and all. In that case, the case worker would have mentioned it as a reason for refusal if that was an issue, right? In your opinion, what do you think I should do to have a solid application and how long do I need to wait to reapply? Or can I apply for another visa instead of visit visa? Thanks for your time. giselle237: |

Thanks a lot Tutu82, you are a life saver. Your professional advise is well taken and acting on them already. The inactive business is now being sorted out, as I need to pay some charges and submit a statement of affairs for those years I didn't submit my annual returns. Give it a few months, 2, 3 or 4 months? Please be precise as my legal adviser want us to reapply immediately. So I can tell him to hang on a little bit and also get these things corrected before I proceed with the application. My wife is presently on definite leave to remain ( family life), my daughter is on 5years indefinite leave to remain as she just joined her mother( my ex wife) last year. A letter of invitation, bank statement and pay slips from my wife was also provided. Income and my outgoing funds were clearly stated in my financial statement and management report. Everything was explained In details. I could send them to your email if that's fine by you. Maybe you could also tell me where we made mistake in the documents provided. Thank you once again for your time. Tutu82: |

This is my business account which clearly states my business name on it( I provided GTB business account and micro finance business account). Pls note, I didn't provide a savings account. 1, How else can I convince them? 2, Case worker, said an open source search was carried out on the CAC website and shown to be inactive, what does that mean and how can it be corrected? 3, My statement of account does not demonstrate that I am in receipt of the stated income in my application and does not demonstrate how I fund my daily expenses In my country. What step should be taken to demonstrate that? Thank you so much for response as I await your reply to my questions above. sherylbaky: |

My lawyer specifically requested for 12months statement of account, as he said the 6months isn't enough. I paid 12,300 not sure if it's add on service. As the payment was done on my behalf. The online application has been submitted and there was no room to scan and attach to the application. I would say 6months statement period will suffice except you have a special reason why you want to submit 12months. To answer your question you scan it and attach to your application or take a hard copy if you paid for the 12,500 add on service via tls which case they will help you scan it.
|

Good morning everyone, pls I need your urgent response. I am about to go for my biometrics this week. I noticed my statement of account is over 1000 pages( 12months period), is there an alternative way of submitting it( online submission) or I have to print and take that much to the embassy? |

Good evening guys. What are my chances to get a visitor's visa to visit my wife in UK( as I have been advised to go for that instead of spousal visa) and how much is the visa fee? Reasons; 1, Spousal visa might take long before I get an approval 2, she is currently on definite leave to remain(private life). The law doesn't give a provision for spousal visa due to her status. |

giselle237: She is on her last 10yrs( private route) period before she can apply for indefinite leave to remain. We have been advised to apply for spousal visa since we are married. I checked the UK website nothing saying for or against it but I'd I appreciate you or someone that has same experience to point me to the right direction. Thank you. Uploaded is her type of visa status and didn't say much about marriage but says his/her family member can apply on the same application.

Good evening everyone, I have been following this forum for while and it has been quite helpful. I need your urgent advice as I am about to put in my UK spousal visa application. I am and my wife got married last year October, she lives in the UK. She has 'leave to remain'( not indefinite leave to remain). I was removed in 2009 due to overstaying. Now here are my questions; would her present status be an issue, would my previous record affect the approval of my visa application, since my wife would be the one applying from the UK, how much do I need to have in my statement of account, do I need to write a statement of purpose? God bless you all as I await your responses. N:B: done my IELTS test and TB certificate. |
