I was at the Bolt's stakeholders meeting today at Gbagada. I emphasised on the need to go back to their old way of metering rides, not fixed price. Other people in attendance were in support of this. I hope they work on it. Was there any of us here at the meeting? |

Glithronix: E surprised me, too. The only thing I know about timing chain is jumping and slacking. Or maybe when it jumped teeth, it shifted off the camshaft/crankshaft and had contact with other running components and got broken?
@Davit, did you see the broken chain physically? Cos make I no lie, me self dey confuse about the broken T-chain.
Much respect, boss. Na so people dey ask for club lexus group ó. But I saw it myself. The 2 chains snapped. |

XGhost: You can go to the mechanic workshops under the bridge, ask someone to direct you to AO15 or AMERICAN CAR, when you get there ask for OGA LATI or EGIN. Oga Lati has been our mechanic for years. Thank you all. The problem has been solved. The timing chain and the other chain holding oil pump broke inside. Resolved. Back on the road. |

Hey guys. I was having a good today, Comfort category on Bolt doing well until I was coming back from Airport. Fiam, in the middle of 3rd mainland Bridge, my car went off.
Scanned it immediately,: camshaft sensors issue came on. I pushed it for a while before a guy came to join. We agreed to 3k, only for the guy to get to a part of the pushing and decided to stop, asking for his money.
Í sha beg am make ẹ no vex. He raised the money to 5k. Las Las we pushed am go Road Safety side at SURA..
No good mech on the ground. Called my home based mech, he suggested I check the timing chain. The mech dey say he wan lose all sorts of things. When I told my own mech, he said he would come tomorrow.
I just had to leave the car at their workshop. I pray it's in complete shape when I get there tomorrow. At last, my biggest fear on LAGOS road, having my car faulty on 3rd mainland Bridge, happened!

ruggedtimi: yellow card is more important than id/nin through the road.....I have travelled without id/nin by road. But yellowcard was a must especially at hilakonji border. I ónly shared my experience. I was in Ghana last week of last year till first week of January this year. I used GUO both to and fro. |

Erikiel: Okay But how can one get the yellow card and what are the procedures in doing so? I have no idea because I never used it. You will need it if you travel by air though especially to countries. |
Travel › Re: My Ghana Journey, Experience, Lessons And Facts. by davit: 11:45am On Feb 13, 2025 |
The yellow card is not really important though, if you use the right transporter like GUO. You need either valid passport or your NIN.
IT is better to change money at Togo boarder or Aflao when going. Other places are rip offs. If you have Cedis left over, it is better to get to Togo boarder before changing back to Naira. Speaking from experience.
Riding with GUO to Ghana has been my best experience travelling so far. No hassle on the roads. It is their driver that handled everything. They will even give you complimentary breakfast. |
