I-invest is owned by Sterling Bank. Their platform is legit. Been using it for about 5 years now. I currently have TB portfolio with them running till next year.
It is good for TB at secondary market. Just note that their advertised rate is not truly what you get because they invest your interest alongside.

Self recharge requires no authorization. That's well known. DOB or last digits of ATM card only become relevant when you're transferring above 20k, so if your argument was valid, they would have been able to move at least 20k per day, but they couldn't, only self recharge which requires no authorization.

I have 5 bank accounts, yet only access had the vulnerability.

You would have been saved from this if only you had activated SIM lock. Create sim lock on all your SIMs. That s all.

TB discount interest is paid upfront so if it was just that way it would have been the 16.82. However, with this, your interest is invested with the principal that's why it will yield that 20.01.


If the discount rate was upto this 20.01, your yield would have around 24%. That 16.82 discount rate is not the sweetest for that tenure considering the present realities but then na secondary market and it's already a done deal. So, make you manage am.

I believe since they have the dealer that sold the car to his friend, probably they moved his friend to PH for investigation and statement since the police station in charge of the case is located in PH. They need documentation of his statement in that particular station, I'm sure he will be released in no time, but they have to hold him since he's connected to the theft and once they take his statement and see no trace of being involved in the theft, he will be released but will they book his flight back to Lagos

This case reminds me of my first car in Lagos. Bought the car from a supposed dealer, 250k then, Infinity G20. I never knew that he was just a mechanic given car to repair.

Few months later, I drove the car to somewhere In Agege to purchase an item. Next I saw was a man approach me claiming the car was his.

He later narrated how he was in some trouble when the car broke down. His mechanic advised him to sell it off. They never reached any agreement when the mecho decided to sell it. I ended up buying it from the mecho using expired vehicles left in the car by the owner.

The real owner said he d been having back and forth with the mechanic since. Long story short, he suggested we syndicate the case at a nearby Police station. That's how police turned the case against me, claiming I bought a stolen car. I was detained and only released later in the day after we d been able to ascertain what was going on. The following day, all of us went to Iyana Ipaja to pick up the mecahic. The moment he sighted us, he bolted.

Luckily for me, his friend that received the money from me was nearby. I held on to him. He was dragged back to the station. And that was how we managed to get the attention of the mechanic who came later. He signed undertaking to balance the car owner.
So, that's how I was exonerated.

But for police to release my car was another story until I involved a retired General!
