We are 3 hours away from landing in Auckland. One of the advantages of using Emirates is the internet facilities available. Was able to video call my wife and son from 33,000 FT above sea level a d presently approaching Sydney, enroute to Auckland. Nairaland time is showing Saturday, 07 September 2019 at 07:35 PM But local time here is Sunday 08 September, 2019 04:35am

Cgame:Nadal made it. I hope he doesn't win on Sunday to narrow the gap with Federer to just 1 slam |
ManirBK:I mean take a photograph of the interface. Click on menu and snap that display Screen on the TV |
ManirBK:Snap the interface |
That's Emirates giving us Sport 24 HD and 24 Extra. Was able to watch the 2 US Open tennis semi finals and also Germany vs Netherlands aboard my flight and just landed in Dubai Seems Sport 24 now available only on premium

Amuatulu:IVM cars are very expensive. The small size Sedan that looks like KIA Picanto goes for ₦7million, but not as rugged as a used Toyota Corolla 2008 model that you can get for ₦2.5million |

They should stop being enemies of progress. We need private hands in some institutions. MMA2 was built by Bi-Courtney (Wale Babalakin SAN) And well funded and always beautifully looking and adequately maintained |
omoiyamayor:or banana Cassava |
IYGEAL:Tomorrow morning, by God's grace. |
Olutozn54:I've been wondering how we got to this level of openly discussing about extra functions of some of the boxes, without caution. It's very common with some of these unscrupulous sellers. Go to Facebook and see how to open say stupid stuffs. I've always said it. You can't be stealing and openly telling your victim that you're stealing from him/her. It shows how stood people can be. Those Yahoo boys caught by FBI are criminals who do not know how to live quiet life. Let them keep broadcasting until the boxes becomes lifeless like Sunplus decoders |
Predator188:What he's saying is completely different from what we are saying and he doesn't seem to understand our points since. Feeds can be encrypted as he said, so that only the end users/distributors like Startimes and DSTV can be able to decode before sharing with subscribers. Yet, there are still couple of feeds available on satellite that regular Strong decoders can pick. I am not sure he understands what we are saying. |
IYGEAL:Last update July |
Sellfish:Where hmm see fuel for the bike? |
don4mack:WHY CAN'[T YOU INVEST THAT MONEY IN NIGERIA AND HUSTLE HERE? |
Globalodds10063:You're a scammer that needs to be arrested too |
millionboi2:Many Nigerians still do out of ignorance |
Asquare84:They're loyal to their country first and not you their customers. DSTV subscription vs Star times subscription will tell you more |
I made a post yesterday condemning FKK who openly supported Violence in retaliation against attacks of Nigerians in South Africa. If we keep attacking structures (buildings) accommodating businesses linked to South Africans, we are invariably attacking Nigerians. How? Ikeja Shopping Mall building belongs to a Nigerian and Shoprite franchise is occupying the largest part of it. However, there are over 30 retailers comprising Cinema, pharmacy, eateries, boutiques etc that belongs to Nigerians. Hence, any attack on that mall is an attack on Nigerians. How then can we retaliate without violence? Its simple. 1. MTN Nigeria is owned by South Africans and more than half of the income goes to South Africa. Boycott the network. For the next 1 week, let's suspend recharging our lines and buying new MTN sim. Switch to the other alternatives like Glo, 9mobile and Airtel until we get an apology. 2. DSTV Nigeria is owned by South Africans and more than 70% of income from subscription and adverts goes back to SA. In fact they make more money in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world because of our population tops that of SA. Boycott DSTV and Gotv. Switch over to Star times, and other paytvs or IPTV. BBnaija boycott. They make millions from viewers and Nigerian sponsor like Betnaija, IVM, Dano, Scanfrost and more importantly, those voting for Frodd, Venita, Omashola, Seyi etc. When sponsors pull out, and we stop buying MTN recharge cards to vote, they'll apologize. 3. South Africa Airways should be suspended from operating in Nigeria until further notice. 4. Standard Chartered Bank. Withdraw all the deposits from the bank and move on to other banks. 5. Expel SA ambassador to Nigeria. If Trump can sanction China successfully without violence, Nigeria can do same to South Africa |
So glad I jettisoned SAA for Emirates. Anxiety may have affected me if I was using them. Nobody from Nigeria should use SAA until they apologize Emirates just sent me reminder now

Where are my fellow tennis fans. Woke up to the sad news of Roger Federer not winning |

The South African parliament is a comedy club. Two minsters, Minister Mbalula and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took on each other over how to pronounce Professor Wole Soyinka's name. They both got it wrong but it was hilarious. The transport minister Fikile Mbalula pronounced Soyinka's name wrongly and one of the parliamentarians, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, had to call him to order. He noted that he will not allow the minister progress with his presentation on the floor of the house until he gets the pronunciation of the name of the African literary giant correctly. https://netstorage-legit.akamaized.net/images/31ca55df57d151b0.jpg?imwidth=900 The minister had pronounced Wole Soyinka as Wholesoyinka. Ndlozi stopped him midway saying: "It is not Whole Soyinka, African scholars must be respected. A whole transport minister, transporting wrong information https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=329192221309110

fergie001:I pray and hope so. I detest Generator and the noise. For two years and still counting, I've hardly used generator at home or in the office. My pannels are efficient and do change my batteries after 2 to 3 years. |
Tayeni:In all honest, how many people do that? We have flooded batteries, AGM, GEL that we use at home and after 2 to 3 years, we sell them as scrap and then purchase new ones. Hardly will you see anyone do any form of conversion for reuse. It is very very rare |
fergie001:Even if they do, will they prevent abuse? I mean, they need to change all lightnings to energy efficient ones |
Tayeni:Efficiency reduces in all batteries including the ones in our phones and vehicles |
mrvitalis:One of the reasons I shake my head when reading comments on social media. Many of them are uninformed |
