If I click on the reschedule button and it opens up the calendar, however there are no earlier dates, would i have lost my original appointment date? Kindly educate me. Cos I wont want to loose my date if there are no earlier dates. Thank you so much.

You are a life saver. Thank you so much. This actually worked. A little twist was that I put in the wrong password and tried to sign in, so that it can successfully lock me out after three tries. Twas after then I did 'forgot password'. The mails came rushing in. I received 47 mails in all. This may help others. Thank you once again.

"Trick to reset expired password on AVITS

If the standard "reset password" option on the AVITS platform isn't functioning as expected for u

here's an alternative method to attempt:

1. Attempt to Sign In: Go through the usual login process three times, even if your password is expired. This will intentionally trigger a lock on your account.

2. Trigger Password Reset After Lock: Once the system has locked your account, initiate a password reset.

3. Check Your Email: At this stage, you should receive an email with a link to reset your password. This method seems to work more reliably for some users, as the locked status may prompt the platform to send a password reset link.

NB: all the old password reset link you sent in the past will all come. Just wait for a while until the last reset link comes so that way, you are choosing the most recent link which has not expired.

Same here. I chat with them daily. It seems to me some accounts are just temporarily put on hold. Cos I don't understand why a password reset will take so long with no solution in site. All the best!

I have not been able to resolve the issue i keep trying all i have been asked to do and still cannot access my account and my interview is getting close.

Please were you able to resolve this? I am in the same situation. I have been on password reset for 3weeks

Good day, thanks for your response. I have been going through the same thing for almost three weeks now. I have chatted with the contact center about eight times, and they keep promising to send me the link, but I never get it. I check the junk mail and all. The last time I was told they would escalate it and I should get a response in 48 hours, that was a week ago. I do not know what else to do; it's like I am just locked out of my account.

Please were you able to resolve the password reset issue?

Please has anyone been able to solve password reset difficulty. I have been in this situation for weeks. I have sent an email and reached the customer agents consistently. I never get any of their reset mails. Please help.

Hello everyone. Please i need info on how to go about scheduling a dropbox interview. My dad and mum applied since last year however we have not been able to get a date scheduled. To schedule a date now? I have to remove my mum as a dependant from my dad's profile. I have done that. How do i now schedule my mum for her interview still using my dad's profile? Or how do i go about applying for family. An helpful response will be greatly appreciated.

This is exactly what happened to me today. I doubt they are willing to issue visas at this time. There is an undeclared policy we have no clue about.

The VO mentioned struggling with her decision cos I paid all my bills. From my experience today, she didn't have any reason to deny me. She advised I have my baby and then reapply in 6months. I don't know how you reapplying immediately will work.

1. Is this your first delivery in the united states?

2. If yes to (1), how much did you tell them that the vaginal delivery cost?

3. If no to (1), did you give birth to any of your children in the USA?

I think it's disheartening that the embassy would think that one would have recourse to public funds. It's really upsetting and I need someone in the house to confirm if this can be appealed because my wife was rejected on the same ground.

Her case:-

She had given birth to the first kid in 2017 in USA.

When she went to the Embassy today the conversation went like this:

VO :- What is the purpose of your visit to the US this time around?

Wife :- I would want to go and give birth like i did my first son.

VO :- Oh, so you have given birth before in the US?

Wife:- Yes, in 2017.

VO:- You didn't let us know about your intention to give birth in the US.

Wife:- I did at the point of Entry on my second visit to the US. I informed the immigration officers on duty that I had come in for 3 months to give birth.

VO :- Do you have your receipts to show payment?

Wife:- Yes, I have my zero balances for your perusal.

VO:- Do you have the Bills/receipts to show payments?

Wife:- Yes. (At this point, she had separated the bills from the zero balance and gave the VO the bills)

VO:- looks through and says, there is a heavy discount on these bills so it means you had recourse to public funds.

Wife:- No i didn't. I paid well over $8000+ as told me by the hospital and i made more than 50% of the payment before leaving for the US and the other payments after delivery, so there is no way I could have had recourse to public funds. It was all my money hence the zero balance.

VO:- The average amount of delivery in Texas is $15000 and if you paid $8000 then it means American Tax Payers have paid for your bills and for this reason, you are not eligible for this visa at this time.

Wife:- Una dey madt? (of course she didn't say this)

Wife:- But i didn't use any funds and I have all the zero balances to show that I made all the payments myself.

VO:- Thank you - slides the blue stupid paper!!!


Our intention:- We want to create another application after 3 working days and put a detailed message under the reason for denial and maybe go to Abuja and have the interview facing them directly based on such false accusations.

If you have input on this, please i'd be more than happy to hear it.

I recently applied for a B2 visa via drop box and was called for a 221g followup interview. I am due to travel first week in December 2018. The first available date is April, 2019. I have gone ahead to select this date with the hope that I can reschedule. Or better still can be considered for an earlier date. Unfortunately I have not been given any opportunity to reschedule. What do you advise? Kindly help!
