I get maybe 2-3 calls from telemarketers that using robocalls. I have ignored many of those calls, but they are never getting tired. I have just read an article at http://www.whycall.me/news/my-4500-payday-from-a-telemarketer/. I think suing those companies will at least decrease the amount of spam calls that we get.

What area code is that number? Seems odd to me. Did you reply anything? Check and report his number to http://whycall.me or http://whitepages.com and maybe you can warn others about this kind of scam.

Yeah, that's right. That's what I have read on their government site. Needs quite a long time.

The problem is, Many of those scammers target landline users. I prefer to just always ignore every call if it comes from number I don't recognize. I sometimes just look up the number on some sites like http://whycall.me to see if people have reported the number as scam, so that I can just block them.

I can find such reports filed by people since years ago online, about card frauds, at sites like http://whycall.me and another similar complaint boards. Just hang up, block the number, and report it to authorities.

I think this Nigerian scam has been the most common problem in the whole world. I always find reports filed about them since years ago at sites like http://whycall.me, almost everyday. People should have known about them. If there are still people that fall for them, then I think they should read all the warnings that can be found easily.
