.. I naturally hardly curve a flier handout... Be it a church, telecom, online biz, ponzi advert, investment promos,phone dealership fliers.............yes it's True I may not always be in the mood to read through them, but the drive to get informed on whatever is happening around me pushes me on. Guess that is why I hardly don't know about good stuffs on offer. Foe example, it is with promo I knew about angels coming down to sleep with beautiful l women of old days, it's with fliers, I knew about mtn amazing post paid tariffs , mtn solar packages, savings bank account you can operate like a current, the best and newest good electronics dealers in town.. Etc

But I find it quite difficult to understand why people tend to turn them down as though they are a plague....recently I was on a physical advertising spree using fliers... And I got all the ill treatment you can think off: from people refusing to give you a min, people feeling tuish and see you as a begger to those that just walk past and ignore you....

Anybody that have followed Nigerian politics from 1999 till date especially at State levels will undoubtedly know that one of the causes of underdevelopment in most of the administrations is the godfather factor. These godfathers and their cohorts see it as business to plant their godson that must be dancing to their tune and making return of investments to them once they made them Governor of the state.

Ossiomo Power Plant: Another MOU project Materialized.

The plant is to generate 55 megawatts, even as another production channel is set to work.

Massive and non-stop work has been going on at the Ossiomo Power Plant situated in Ikpoba-Okha local government area of Edo State.

The facility presently houses three (3) important production structures: the gas plant, the gas pit valve house, and the production plant.

The gas pit valve house is operated using gas channeled directly from the existing NNPC pipeline, while the production plant has two channels with nine engines each.

During this onsite interview, we gathered that over 250 engineers consisting of majorly Edo Indigenes have been working round the clock at the facility, there is also a workshop situated on-site in case of any fabrication.

We also gathered that personnel of Nigerian Electricity Management Service Agency (NEMSA) are already on ground to certify the poles, transmitting from Ologbo all the way to the heart of Benin before operations commence fully.

There’s no gainsaying that regular electricity is important to everybody, whether for business, industrial, or personal use.

“WE OWN THE LAND” ……. Edo Masses Insist

In 1979, the late music maestro and indomitable proponent of Ozzidism musical genre King Sunny Okosun released the album entitled “Papas Land”. As a young student then, I was captivated by the lead track of the album, “We want to know who owns the land”. More than the pulsatingly irresistible beat of the track, it was the bold and audacious inquisition of the lyrics that won my loyalty.

Now, forty-one years later, the immutability of Sunny Okosun’s lyrics has been confirmed, no thanks to the crude and rude attempt by enemies of our fledgling democracy to invade the hallowed premises of the Edo House of Assembly with the aid of thugs (the now infamous lions and tigers) and an illegally deployed detachment of Nigeria’s Federal Police.

This nocturnally hatched plot is allegedly the handiwork of key elements within the rudderless opposition All Progressive Congress, A.P.C under the tutelage of the grand old puppeteer, Adams Oshiomole with active support and funding from the Bourdillon coven.

This despicable act is desperation taken too far. Politics and governance should be for the purpose of enhancing the lives and livelihoods of the people. In Edo State, a miniscule cabal of avaricious politicians has held onto the reigns of power, forsaken development agenda and embraced mediocrity, buffoonery and primitive accumulation.

The September 19th election is therefore an opportunity to reshapen democracy and reengineer governance. It is a contest between an elite political establishment and the mass of Edo people.

The strident call on the Federal government and the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, to ensure a free, fair and credible election in Edo State is timely and imperative. The response of Edo people, so far has demonstrated their resolve to jettison the shenanigans of the past and actualize their destiny

OSHIOMHOLE'S LAST DITCH EFFORT TO TRUNCATE THE WILL OF EDO PEOPLE MEETS RESISTANCE

Everything seems over for Oshiomhole and Ize-Iyamu in Edo State as their last desperate attempt to truncate the will of Edo People meets with vehement resistance.

Statistics from the opinion poll sponsored by an acclaimed 'godfather' of Lagos politics and a certain Benin billionaire, has shown that the APC cannot get beyond 23% of total vote cast in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State, due to the putrid and ragged political reputation of the APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, amongst the Edo populace, which no amount of image laundering and reputation managers can launder.

Even more worrisome to the Ize-Iyamu camp are the concluding results of their campaign call centre which pegs their number of positive responses at 21%, that is if the figure was not inflated by them; as they have been known in the not too distant past to rig a primary election that had no opponents. These preelection results have sent electrifying shiver and panick down the spines of the Oshiomhole-ze-Iyamu camp.

With the reality of an impending and inevitable defeat staring them in the face, and with the ghosts of their atrocities haunting their inactive conscience, they decided to hatch this last failed plan to illegally inaugurate another House of Assembly, with an imported Mace from Imo State, in a desperate attempt to impeach the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly alongside the Governor, with the backing of the alleged or so-called Abuja police, and thus install Victor Edoro as New Speaker and acting Governor of Edo State.

This to the people of Edo State, was an outright insult on their sensibilities and an attempt to outrightly truncate democracy and legitimate governance with illegality, and Edo people, in a bid to resist the aspiring godfathers and take their knees off their necks, converged at the State House of Assembly; the Anthony Enahoro Complex, at Kingsquare, Benin, to defend the integrity of their nascent democracy and the revolutionary governance which is currently taking over the Nigerian political terrain with Godwin Obaseki as the propelling force.

It did not matter to these political actors if the House of Assembly Complex was currently under renovation, they were willing to sit anyway and install an illegal speaker and Governor, in a country governed by a constitution. It is time President Muhammadu Buhari called these political comedians led by the Oshiomhole-Ize-Iyamu union to order.

Edo people more than ever are now ready to defend the freedom and rights which Democracy and the Nigerian constitution offer, as they are willing and capable of resisting any attempt to enthrone impunity and civil unrest, and uphold the sacrosanctity of the Nigerian Constitution.

...Failed Assembly Takeover


...Adams Oshiomhole disgraced. His knees must be removed from Edo people's neck.

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is pleased to announce that the planned Edo State House of Assembly takeover by Adams Oshiomhole and his gang of marauders has failed and thwarted by Edo people.

Edo people today spoke with one voice. They displayed total commitment and loyalty to constituted authority, the rule of law and democracy as they answered the call to OCCUPY the Assembly complex.

Their action has bloodied the nose of Adams Oshiomhole, APC and their marauding gang who with such impetuousness, attempted to subvert the will of Edo people.

We congratulate and thank Edo people for their show of love and support for Governor Obaseki and our party.

We call on all well meaning Edo people to continue to reject APC and their evil plans as was demonstrated today. Edo is indeed Resetting! From this moment, united and determined, we will go forward together, dedicated to the ultimate and undeniable greatness of Edo state.

We call on the security agencies to be vigilant and pro-active. This is not a time for our Police, DSS and other security agencies to allow themselves to be used to perpetuate any agenda that will lead to chaos and cause mayhem. Threats to Democracy must be quenched without equivocation and those involved whether directly or remotely must be flushed out and dealt with. No one is above the law.

We also call on Mr President to call the marauding gang led by his disgraced and sacked Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole to order. His utterances have been provocative and inciting. Adams Oshiomhole is a threat to Edo security and Nigeria's democracy. He should be adviced to retrace his step.

My fellow Edo people, the tide has been running against freedom. We must, and we shall, return to proven ways. We must, and we shall, set the tide running again in the cause of freedom. And this party and Government with its every action, every word, every breath, and every heartbeat, has but a single resolve, and that is freedom - freedom made orderly for Edo State by our constitutional government and freedom from self appointed godfathers !

We understand freedom. We have earned it, we have lived for it, and we have died for it. Edo State and its people are freedom's model in a searching world. We can be freedom's missionaries in a doubting Nation.

Adams Oshiomhole and APC's knees must be removed from our neck. On September 19, do it with your PVC. Vote PDP.
