Actually, it is Physics with Electronics in some tertiary institutions in Nigeria. So she is correct if that is the way her school calls it.

the good thing about the course is that you can work in almost every sector esp. Energy and IT when you finish with good grade.
I will advice you to incorporate IT and software development as personal training. start developing apps by studying different programming languages. another good thing is you can be self sufficient by designing and producing gadgets with microcontroller. Just know what you are doing and be focused. The one you will be taught in school can be enough for you to start-up a company if you are really interested in that field.

the main reason is timing. December is the worst time to do the award. most artists have more than 1 show in December. some have shows outside the country. some people would travel to their villages for Christmas. I will suggest the show be held in another month e.g. September, February or July. Again, the date should be announced like 4 - 6 month earlier so that people can plan for it. also interview or tv segments should be done on the authenticity of the selection process and eventually winners.
