I just realized I like regret mails. At least that way I know my application has been attended to and I can move on to the next one. In the past few months since I finished NYSC, I have over 50 applications in the sent-item of my mail box and numerous online applications. I’ve had less than 10 responses; mostly either they have gotten my application and would revert or regret mails. It now keeps me wondering, did the others not get my applications or did I get the wrong mail address? Is my mail provider messing with my sent items? At least these mails provides closure. It’s a really bad character for Human Resources Unit to get applications and not revert on it, Applicants should be treated like clients. I use this opportunity to appreciate companies like Airtel ng, PWC, Mckinsey, Omotunde Akintosho&co. , Accenture and Total Nigeria for their responses even though I’m still waiting for Total to get back to me in 149days! My only regret is that they wouldn’t realize what they have missed out on.
