If true, it means the INEC Official(s) that acknowledged receipt of the Application are dumb and should be reprimanded ASAP.
The should have been humbly told to fo readdress the letter, wrongly addressed official letters will not get the required attention in an organiser organization.

Most new generation in Nigeria and diaspora never got to know about his good works until internet brought him out, unconfirmed reports even suggested some young folks appreciated him handsomely for using part of his works. Did the internet kill him at age 93?

Igbo people continued to call him an Igbo man so when he was campaigning for Buhari against Jonathan he used that advantage to tell the crowd that he was more Igbo than Jonathan and Igbo people started cheering him. Is there any where in the world where someone would overnight say he belongs to an ethnicity that he never identified with and then you take that as indelible fact?

Only Igbo people would see someone whose mother, father, none of the siblings is Igbo but assume that person can become Igbo overnight. If this is not stupidity of the highest order then I don’t know what it is.

Oga am aware of the electoral laws and provisions of the Nigerian constitution, especially as it concerns the duties of the President.
It's still not the duty of the President to coordinate the internal affairs of other political parties, evey party ought to have their own internal merchineries to resolve crisis in a timely manner.
Many of us like chasing shadows and blame others for our self inflicted problems.

It is the duty of the President to protect democracy including the integrity of political parties.

This official police statement is actually self indicting in my view.
First the driver broke traffic rules and tried to escape so no need for use of firearms.
Even if a case of high level criminality such as abduction (as stated in the statement) was suspected and required the use of firearms to demobilize the vehicle, a mask man or a more experienced officer in the team should av taken the shot targeted at the car wheel (tire).
The incident reflected lack of professionalism on the part of the police, so the entire team should pay the price for murder. The Officer in charge of that unit should also be sanctioned while I recommend continuous training for serving police men.

I have a suggestion for the PDP and the coalition on how to grab power from the APC. They should allow Atiku run on one ticket with Obi as his VP under PDP, then on the coalition ticket, they should make Obi run with either El-Rufai or Oseni Rufai as his VP. There is no way one of these two tickets won’t kick the APC out, my humble opinion
