Tiwa Savage, Ice Prince and WizKid have been nominated in the Best African Act category for the 2013 MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) awards.

The trio will be competing against Atumpan from Ghana, Bombino from Niger, Fuse ODG from Ghana, South African Group Mafikizolo, and Spoek Mathombo also from South Africa for the awards.

This will make it the second time WizKid is nominated at the MOBO awards, and he claimed the prize in 2011. Last year, D’Banj took home the award.

The nominees were announced at an event at The London Connaught Rooms.
