For those who have bookings or are still interested in going to the Consulate to apply for visa. Information I got from someone that applied today is:
The visa fee is #16800
No date for collection was given, they were just told that they will be called.
Only three persons submitted for visa application today due to the inability to book appointments.

I did same too. I feel if you can explain to the lady with a good manner of approach, she'll be able to help with it. I used the woman at Onikan. Just give her a call from 9:30am on Monday. There's basically everything on this thread except for little clarifications you might need to ask for. I got her number from page 1 posted by Rubenic about 5 years ago. I know it's hard but let's try to read through. Thanks to everyone here for a good job. God bless you.

One more thing. Since it takes up to 7days for translation. I was wondering if I could contact the V.I translation woman to kick start translating (I'll probably transfer the fee to her and send soft copies of the documents), while I go to Abuja for certification. I live in the east, so going twice to Lagos (i.e. to submit for translation after certification, and then to pick up translated documents b4 proceeding for legalisation) might not be too economical. What do you think?

i m suprised to see someone post 13400 as price for DOV how come others say its close to 40k

i paid 6500 for translation

I think the embassy for now, works with the number of documents you bring for legalization and not a standard fee. I also went there bearing in mind to pay #38900 but she charged #16500. From my observation, your's should be lesser seeing that what you translated cost #6500.

Please what happens in the case of not having a primary school certificate since it's one of the documents required for legalization? Does it have any side effect for an MSc student applying for a visa? Thank you.
