Chinjo2: In case most of you don't understand the need for NLC and TUC to stand their grounds, 54k is just N100 per meal for a family of 6 (Father, mother and 4 children for 30 days).
N100 X 3 = N300 N300 X 6 = N1,800 N1,800 X 30 days = 54k
In most parts of the country, you can't even get a plate of food for N500 talk less of N100.
This is just for feeding. What about house rent, Electricity bills, fueling, school fees, hospitals bills etc.
Hope this regime is favouring the BATarials? You won't see them here, they are always waiting for Peter obi. They are suffering and smiling 😁 |

Judolisco: NLC should go and sit down.. U want a mini wage of 700k when some states are struggling to pay 30k....NLC leaders should go and do six months internship training with ASUU on how to tackle the government You're a big fool for making such comments, meaning you're not in Nigeria, any state governor struggling to pay 30k minimum wage is a thief. People like you are the ones encouraging the government to keep stealing from the poor Nigerians. Do you even have a job? |

Useless set of animals, just look at how a boko haram wife and children looks like, see how dirty and malnutritious they are, with all the money they get from their sponsors they still can't afford food, clothes and education. APC is really a scam to foolish people who align with them. |

cyrusmillz: This is the most uselesss NLC in the history of NLC in Nigeria. Adams oshiomole will forever be remembered, even though all na just to boost his political portfolio Adams was chairman when Nigeria was enjoying democracy and we had leaders who listened to the cries of the people, he would have been useless if he was chairman of the NLC of the Nigeria we have now, stop comparing both. Nigeria is in shambles, Adams was never beaten and threatened if he embarks on strike but here we are, no one wants to die early. |

reiddecuti: Nigeria as a country doesn't exist in reality but in paper.
Nigeria only exist to the cooperate thieves who saw themselves ruling Nigeria.
The leadership of this country may be crooks but the followers are worst than the leaders, and this is my reservation for saying such;
1) a country where billions and trillions will be looted and the followers keeps a blind eyes.
2) a country where school pupils and people will be kidnapped and the followers never match to the street for protest.
3) a country where government agencies, departments and ministries will be involved in corruption, investigation carried out and the culprit goes free and the followers never demand for punishment.
4) a country where those who violate the law (mostly the government officials) are not servered with corresponding punishment, and the masses kept mute.
5) a country where the government has legalized corruption and nobody cares to ask questions why.
6) a country where things which are not possible in other countries of the world is only possible in Nigeria and still nobody cares.
The truth is whenever we need Nigeria to function effectively, we'll demand for it.
Even the Holy Bible said "the Kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent taketh it by force."
Until we begin to demand for accountability, justice and law and order be practice in Nigeria, the status quo remains. So what steps have you taken so far to make the country a better place? |

Education › Re: Brain Drain Of Teachers In Private Schools: What's The Way Forward? by dchamp234(m): 9:58am On Feb 22, 2024 |
The Nigerian Government has made the teaching job a laughing stock, see the way the government toys and plays football with professors and lectures in higher institutions, even primary and secondary school teachers are not doing better except for the benefits of pension and retirement packages and you expect private schools to do better? Politics or illegal activities pays more in Nigeria than teaching, if the country was a better place, I don't think young people would go into teaching mostly in these private schools than pursuing a better career. |

jesmond3945: if christians dont see anything wrong with this bloodshed then it is safe to say we are deceiving ourselves. My friend, how long would we keep seeing something wrong with the killings caused by Muslims, how many christians including women and children has been killed most especially here in Nigeria? How about the most recent in a Catholic church in ondo state, how about the farmers, how about Kaduna, how about Deborah who was roasted like a goat in broad daylight, how about boko Haram killings of christians in the north? Did the christians fight back? Have these Muslim killers been brought to book? How long will we keep seeing something wrong? Sometimes I imagine how Nigeria would have been without Muslims, imagine how peaceful the world would have been without Muslims, someone has to stand and let them know that they don't own the world, what happened in sweden a fews days ago in the stadium? Christians will always be christians that's why Muslims keep doing what they like, let Israelites finish them, the rest of the world too is watching, in few years time, the Muslims will know their place, the hamas are not alone, presidents of Muslim countries founded them with those weapons, they don't want to see Israel again but that would never happen, the christian world won't let it happen. |
