Hey,

I’ve been reading about private Shopify apps and how they can help with automating repetitive tasks like order tagging, CRM syncing, etc. I’m fairly technical but not a developer—so I’d love some guidance on what’s involved in setting up a private app.

I might reach out to a Shopify app development company in Florida I came across to help with it. But I’d like to understand the basics first—how authentication works, API rate limits, things like that. Anyone here gone through this process?
