The Police press statement said the children are half naked which is possible. If you have seen all this Togolese/Benin Republic young boys and girls that they snuggled into Nigeria for house maid job then you will be able to relate better.

The statement said the girls cannot speak or understand Yoruba/English and not the doctor or the security personnel.

With the look of things, I guess the doctor felt he's too big to answer the security as a US base doctor. You should know we Nigerians we classism.

1. Misunderstanding began when the doctor attempted to gain access through the Polytechnic gate and was stopped by a security guard for routine checks.

2. According to the Command, suspicion was triggered after the girls were allegedly seen “half-naked” inside the vehicle when the doctor lowered the car window during the inspection.

3. The situation reportedly worsened when Dr. Afolabi could not provide satisfactory answers to questions from bystanders and later attempted to leave the checkpoint, leading to heightened suspicion among residents.

4. The police added that the inability of the two girls to communicate effectively in Yoruba or English further fuelled the false kidnapping alarm.

The highlighted four points shows the doctor brought the tragedy upon himself. If he had listened and patiently answered the security officer at the polytechnic gate, this won't happen to him.

My major concern is your No-02, it's still not clear how they the children will be half naked and NO-04 , how could a security personnel working in Ibadan not understand the local dialect & a medical doctor in USA is unable to identify himself.

I had a very bad experience with them.

One of their marketers came to my shop. I reluctantly opened an account. I was forcefully made to deposit #2,500 which I gave to the marketer. She told me the whole #2,500 will be deposited into my account. She said I would be sent account details. On getting their alert, the #2,500 was deposited but only saw #1,500 without any description/explanation as to how #1,000 went.

I tried setting up their app but still saw #1,500 instead of my whole #2,500.

1k isn't the issue but they feeling it's okay not to let me know why they removed the 1k is what really got me angry. My remaining 1,500, I can't even withdraw or use any of it to buy airtime. Their behaviour is just so fraudulent and suspicious.

I'll sha find time to go into one of their branches to remove my money and close the account.

Similar thing happened to me with FCMB , After everything they made away with my 5K because I have gone back to my base no account, no 5k & no refunds
It hurts me to remember this

Nigeria remains a country of particular concern. Ordinarily, there should be a clear process which stipulate how death in custody should be treated whether in court, prison or hospital. Did they even make attempt to perform CPR on that woman before declaring her dead? Some of them are just brain dead with no human feelings.

Everything about the scenerio is wrong. You can imagine our so called learned law enforcers pronouncing someone dead without a doctor report, no idea of CPR & emergency at alert in the so called law house
