Gurus in the house,
As per my son's refusal,
He is aged 19, a student at the University, I now know the extra documents to be included with his application to show he in school, but what can be done to correct this?
He is not working..do we need to include his statement of account...how much should be there? He being sponsored by his dad..who will include his own bank statement.
Really need inputs as per how to sort this out

Please hope your salary can tally a bit with the claimed fixed deposit if you are not submitting proof of the origin of these fixed deposit funds? Or you have very strong ties or good travel history for them to ignore your misnomers?
Check this thread, you will find the refusal letter for the person with similar case. You will find it if you take your time. The ECO is not stupid.
Additionally you were recently refused for financial reasons etc, it’s far from wise to make spurious claims now as your application is at 50/50 based on the 2 previous refusals of yours.

Let's assume you have ₦10m balance yesterday and today you instructed the same bank to fix ₦5m for 90 days, the debit narration would read fixed deposit or investment.

If you moved the money to the investment house from another bank that you're not submitting the statement, it still doesn't matter, provided the certificate is in your name and the tenor is stated.

I used a different personal account statement and the bank I submitted the fixed deposit certificate from is different. Tenor was 90 days and the terminal date was about a week to date of application submission

Must the money being fixed pass through your account?
Also how many months fixed deposit is acceptable? Thanks in anticipation

The confusing part of the application was that finance part for children who are in university and are not earning money please help me throw light on how to fill that part

My husband was to be my sponsor I was to travel with my two children aged 17+ and 19+ they were also refused.

I put in that I have other savings and investments eg. Pension, money from family...because I ran 18m over six months in my account though most came from money sent into my account by my husband to pay school fees for the children. I am a government worker so salary for now is quite poor.. I saw this thread after we had been denied
I put in that I spend 100k monthly
