Had my Audit AC yesterday. 1st, we were given a form to fill. Why audit in kpmg? O'level results, if you've failed a course or had xtra year in school.
Next we were given 3 questions to select 1 from. 1st question was about increased Internet transactions and Internet crime, what can be done, 2nd question was about a Nigerian culture u feel d rest of the world can adopt, then 3rd question (which i chose) was about the clamour for division of nigeria.
You speak for and against. You have 5 minutes to prepare, u can use google etc, but u have just a minute to present, and u won't be allowed to go in with anything.
Next stage is the group presentation. It actually was more of a group task. We were given a tricky puzzle to solve, in about 20minutes.
The last and final stage was the interview with 4 partners. Mostly they look at the graduate trainee form you filled and submitted to interview. Be prepared to tell stories too to support any answer you give. |

olasuky: @AOSamson, i also agree with wat Janedoe said here. I also dint feel i did well at my PI bcoz at a point after i had said soo much, the lady partner dat interviewed me sed, i was yet to convince her as to why i wanted to work at KPMG (one of the challenges we frm non-acctn depts face) and dat the impression i was giving her was dat i just needed a job, not KPMG in particular. I dont knw weda she was actually serious o or just tryn to upset me, whatever d case sha, i left there with huge doubts/regrets as to things i should hav sed better or done better blah blah. I dint think i did enof at all. That was on thursday, i got success mail the following monday. So, @AOSamson, just chill and pray, its possible u did better than you think and u are just being overly critical. I hope u get success mail soon tho, maybe tomorrow. How was the interview like? What questions were you asked? |

Essay : in ur country, is there more need for land to be used for housing and industry or be cultivated for agric purposes? ... somtn like dat 2. Wat is one skill dat is a absolutely needed to be successful in life. State one example and give reasons
About the logical reasoning.. yes, they are similar to some extent, but KPMG's has more to it than is covered in GMAT The essay I wrote was on the skills too, i wrote about computer skills and relate it to accounting. The 2nd essay was on a failure i had in the past and how it has helped me develop. Like the 1st 10 questions was on numerical reasoning, pretty easy, but u might be tempted to waste time on it. Be fast! My current affairs was similar to this to, number of senators nd house of rep members, when was the ministers in buhari 1st term inaugurated etc |
