The Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to revisit his nomination of Mr. Adebayo Shittu from the state as a minister.

The party claims the ministerial-nominee is not a team player in the APC.

Our correspondent gathered that the state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, allegedly opposed Shittu’s choice but Secretary of the party in the state, Mojeed Olaoya, told our correspondent in Ibadan on Tuesday that the issue was between the nominee and the APC and not the governor.

Contending that he contributed immensely to the success of the party in the state, Shittu denied any friction between him and Ajimobi.

Olaoya said, “This is the party talking and not the governor. It was the party that wrote a letter to the governor asking him to convey our message on Shittu’s nomination to the President. We have published paid advertisement in the newspapers stating our position on Shittu’s matter.”

The party stated that despite the state’s contribution to Buhari’s victory at the poll, it was not being adequately compensated.

It stated in the advertorial that Shittu’s nomination had further compounded the political challenges being faced by the party because of the nominee’s “unacceptability among the people”.

The advertorial by the party accused Shittu of failing to take part in its campaigns, among other allegations.

APC added, “He is not known to be a team player. Despite the fact that he and his cohorts were fully accommodated in the APC, he exhibited an uncooperative attitude in his relationship with the party and its leadership. It is curious to note that Shittu refused bluntly to participate in all party activities, including campaigns, except the Presidential rally in Ibadan.

“He has taken the party to court on three occasions in respect of party congresses and primaries despite all entreaties and reconciliatory efforts. We hereby urge you (Buhari) to reconsider his nomination in the overall interest of the party.”

Shittu, who was a governorship aspirant of the APC in the last election, however, said his accusers did not deliver as much votes as he did during the presidential election that brought in Buhari.

“I was the Chief Collation Officer of our party in my local government and it is on record that our party did not only win in the council, but, posted one of the highest results. As a man of‎ God, though, I’m not a professional cleric, I’m religious enough to appreciate that when God elevates, nobody can demote and that’s why I’m not moved,” he said.

I have met Col Ahmed Ali twice. Once in Kachia, Kaduna in 1999, and the other time was in 2007 in Abuja. This man is Buhari X10. He is a no nonesense man. He does not smile! He made all Kaduna teachers show up to class before 7AM. Just the fear of the name Col Ali, made people behave. He is one effective hell of a man. His appointment makes me truly believe in my leader - PMB wanting the best for Nigeria and the Nigerian Customs where billions of Naira had gone missing and massive corruption festers. What a great man!

State Government in Nigeria cannot pay salary of worker they are complaining there is falls Federal government monthly allocation to States Government

According to the statistics from the Federal government of Nigeria, Nigeria currently spends about a billion Naira Daily (#1 Billion/Daily) importing rice and about $7.5 Billion dollars to Imports Chicken, Palm Oil, Vegetable Oil and wheat annually (Seven billion and five hundred million dollars), a development, which the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Akinwumi Adesina, says is helping to put farmers to work in countries like the united states, India and Thailand, while putting farmers out of work in Nigeria.
My concern is that why State governments of Nigeria key into this by partnering with some private sector to go on mechanized farming of Rice,Chicken etc which will increase the revenue of their various state and also provides jobs for the unemployed youths instead of waiting for monthly federal government allocation.

I have the privileged of travelling to Malaysia and Thailand and what i saw on the ground really surprise me, in term of their Mechanized family especially while travelling through intercity transportation system , I saw Hectares and kilometers of farming, which make me cry for Nigeria and really realized that we are lazy people, that is why people like Aregbesola crying like wolfs every month that Goodluck Jonathan is the Problem of Osun state now Jonathan is gone, its Federal government not Buhari .

I am in the same shoe with you,I used to send slots of money to Nigeria before to friends and family, infact some of them will call you send me IPhone, Laptop etc, the Facebook am using before I have about 600 friends on it which is too much for me to manage, all I did was to shut down the account and open another one and I make sure I add only people I want like my old class mates ,friends here in Europe. Then I changed my mobile number with the New phone am using now which is my work phone is only know by my Company and people I do Business with, the other phone I dropped it in the Car or sometimes in the house and I won't even check it until after 3 days sometimes

What is important to me is my constituency which is my father and mother with younger ones all I told them is to always drop a voice mail,send text to me on facebook or my phone, I will surely read it and reply, then about Facebook you can never see me online despite the fact that I have just only 110 friends now on facebook.

One thing I have seen is that you can't satisfy every one which is a fact.
